Product Overview

The Xiaomi Smart Dehumidifier Lite is designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from your indoor environment, preventing mold growth, refreshing fabrics, and improving air quality. Its compact design and quiet operation make it suitable for various home and commercial settings.

Safety Instructions

• Always place the dehumidifier on a stable, level surface.
• Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
• Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Do not operate the unit near water or in excessively wet environments (e.g., directly in a shower).
• Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Use only the specified power supply.

Setup

1. Unpacking

   Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport.

2. Placement

   Place the unit in the desired location, ensuring it is on a firm, level surface. Maintain at least 20 cm of space around all sides for optimal air circulation.

3. Power Connection

   Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications listed on the product label.

4. Water Tank Installation (Initial Check)

   Ensure the 3-liter water tank is correctly seated in its compartment. The unit will not operate if the tank is full or improperly installed.

5. Continuous Drainage Setup (Optional)

   For continuous operation without manual tank emptying, connect the provided 1-meter drain hose to the drainage port at the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable floor drain or larger container, ensuring a downward slope for gravity drainage.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The control panel is located on the top of the unit (refer to Figure 2). It features a digital display and several touch-sensitive buttons:

• Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through available operating modes (Smart, Clothes Drying, Sleep).
• Humidity Setting Button: Adjusts the target humidity level.
• Timer Button: Sets the operating timer.
• Display: Shows current humidity, target humidity, and mode indicators.

Operating Modes

• Smart Mode: Automatically adjusts dehumidification based on the ambient humidity to maintain a comfortable and healthy environment.
• Clothes Drying Mode: Provides continuous and powerful dehumidification with 360° ventilation to assist in drying laundry indoors.
• Sleep Mode: Operates at the lowest fan speed and noise level (34 dB(A)) for quiet operation during rest periods. The display lights may dim or turn off.

Smart Connectivity (Mi Home/Home App)

The Xiaomi Smart Dehumidifier Lite can be controlled remotely via the Mi Home/Home App. Follow the app's instructions to pair your device. This allows for remote control, scheduling, and monitoring of humidity levels.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

Cleaning the Water Tank

• When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating and an indicator will light up.
• Carefully remove the water tank from the unit.
• Empty the collected water.
• Rinse the tank with clean water. For stubborn residue, use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
• Reinsert the clean water tank firmly into the unit.

Cleaning the Antibacterial Filter

The dehumidifier features an ultra-thin washable antibacterial filter. It is recommended to clean the filter every two weeks or as needed, depending on usage and air quality.

1. Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
2. Locate the filter access panel (refer to Figure 3 for general location).
3. Remove the filter.
4. Gently clean the filter using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
5. If heavily soiled, rinse the filter under cool running water. Do not use hot water or harsh detergents.
6. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat.
7. Reinstall the dry filter and close the access panel.

Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the unit.
