5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Batteries
- Insert the 4000mAh battery into the provided CE fast charger.
- Plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
- The battery indicator light will show the charging status. Charge until the battery is full.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the power outlet and remove the battery.
5.2. Installing the Chain and Guide Bar
Refer to the product diagram (Figure 4.1) for component locations.
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before installation.
- Carefully place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction for cutting.
- Align the guide bar and chain with the chainsaw's sprocket and mounting studs.
- Secure the guide bar cover and tighten the retaining nut. The chainsaw features tool-free chain tension adjustment; rotate the adjustment knob to achieve proper chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
5.3. Adding Lubricating Oil
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw (refer to Figure 4.1).
- Unscrew the cap.
- Using the provided oil bottle, fill the reservoir with appropriate chainsaw bar and chain oil. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the oil reservoir cap.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the chainsaw.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- To start the chainsaw, simultaneously press the safety button (usually located near the handle) and then squeeze the main trigger switch. The chainsaw will not operate if only the trigger switch is pressed.
6.2. Cutting Operation
Always wear all recommended PPE before starting any cutting operation.
- Position yourself securely and maintain balance.
- Place the running chain against the material to be cut. Allow the chainsaw to do the work; do not force it.
- The automatic lubrication system will supply oil to the chain during operation. You can adjust the oil output amount using the black gear (refer to Figure 4.1).
- For optimal performance and safety, make smooth, controlled cuts.
- Be aware of kickback potential and always cut with the bottom of the guide bar when possible.

7.3. Cleaning
- Always remove the battery before cleaning.
- Use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust and debris from the motor housing, guide bar, and chain.
- Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the oil ports are clear of debris.
7.4. Storage
Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children and unauthorized users. Remove the battery before long-term storage.
