Setup and Installation

This VIANIS lamp post light is designed for hardwired installation. Professional installation is recommended.

Pre-Installation Steps

  1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the installation area and turn off the power.
  2. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and inspect for any damage.
  3. Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the mounting surface is stable and capable of supporting the lamp post's weight.

Installation Procedure

  1. Assemble Post Sections: Connect the various sections of the lamp post according to the diagrams provided in the included manual. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Mount Base: Secure the base of the lamp post to the prepared mounting surface using the provided mounting hardware.
  3. Electrical Wiring: Connect the hardwired electrical supply (120V AC) to the lamp post's internal wiring. Follow local electrical codes and ensure proper grounding.
  4. Attach Light Heads: Securely attach the three light heads to the top of the post.
  5. Install Bulbs: Insert E26 base bulbs (max 60W each, not included) into each light head. The bottom opening design allows for easy bulb replacement without tools.
  6. Secure Shades: Attach the glass shades to each light head, ensuring they are properly seated and secured for weather resistance.
  7. Test Functionality: Once installation is complete, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the lamp post light and the integrated outlet.

Operating Instructions

Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor

The VIANIS lamp post light features an integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor for automatic operation. This sensor detects ambient light levels:

  • The light will automatically turn ON when night falls or ambient light is low.
  • The light will automatically turn OFF when dawn arrives or ambient light is sufficient.

No manual intervention is required for daily operation of the lighting function.

Using the Integrated Outlet

The lamp post includes a waterproof outlet for convenient outdoor power access. This outlet is rated for a maximum load of 1875W.

  • To use, simply open the protective cover and plug in your outdoor electrical device.
  • Always ensure the protective cover is securely closed when the outlet is not in use to maintain its waterproof integrity.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load of 1875W.

Bulb Replacement

The lamp post is designed for easy bulb replacement:

  3. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E26 base bulb (max 60W).
  4. Close the lantern head securely.
  5. Restore power.
