5. Installation Instructions
5.1 Pre-Installation Considerations
- Ensure the installation location has a stable foundation, such as fresh concrete or an existing post base with bolts 7.68 inches apart.
- Prepare any necessary ground masonry work, including digging holes or pouring concrete, before assembling the light fixture.
5.2 Assembly Steps
- Mount the Base: Secure the post light base to your prepared foundation using the provided mounting hardware. A template card is included for quick positioning.
- Assemble Pole Sections: Carefully connect the pole sections, ensuring all wiring is routed correctly through the pole.
- Attach Lantern Heads: Securely attach the three lantern heads to the top section of the pole.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the hard-wiring according to local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Install Bulbs: Insert 3 x max 100W E26 bulbs (not included) into the sockets. The bottom opening of each lantern allows for easy access.
- Secure Glass Panels: Ensure all tempered seeded glass panels are properly seated and secured in the lantern heads.

6. Operating Instructions
The VIANIS 3-Head Outdoor Post Light features a built-in dusk-to-dawn photocell sensor for automatic operation.
- Once properly installed and powered, the light will automatically turn on when ambient light levels drop (at dusk).
- The light will automatically turn off when ambient light levels increase (at dawn).
- No manual switching is required for daily operation.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Bulb Replacement: Turn off power before replacing bulbs. Access the bulb by opening the bottom of the lantern head. Replace with E26 base bulbs, not exceeding 100W per bulb.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring and fixture for any signs of damage or wear.
