Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required for this VVFLU 10-Drawer Dresser. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure proper and safe construction. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

  1. Preparation:

    Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Identify each part by its numerical or alphabetical label. It is highly recommended to use an electric screwdriver for efficiency, but exercise caution not to overtighten screws.

  2. Assemble the Main Frame:

    Connect the side panels to the bottom panel using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure. Attach the top panel last, aligning all dowels and screws.

  3. Install Drawer Slides:

    Attach the metal drawer slides to the interior of the dresser frame according to the pre-drilled holes. Ensure they are level and facing the correct direction for smooth operation.

  4. Assemble Drawers:

    For each drawer, connect the side panels to the front and back panels. Slide the drawer bottom into the grooves. Attach the remaining part of the metal drawer slides to the sides of each drawer. Install the vintage metal handles onto the drawer fronts.

  5. Insert Drawers:

    Carefully align the drawer slides on the drawers with the slides on the dresser frame and push the drawers into place until they click securely. Test each drawer for smooth operation.

  6. Attach Back Panel:

    Secure the back panel(s) to the dresser frame using the small nails or screws provided. This adds stability to the unit.

  7. Wall Anchoring:

    This is a critical safety step. Using the provided wall anchoring kit, secure the dresser to a wall stud or use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type. Follow the specific instructions included with the anchoring kit. This prevents the dresser from tipping over.

  • Drawer Capacity: The dresser features 6 wide drawers and 4 smaller drawers. Each wide drawer can hold approximately 8 pairs of folded trousers or 16 T-shirts. Each small drawer can hold approximately 4 pairs of folded trousers or 8 T-shirts.
  • Smooth Operation: The drawers are equipped with smooth-running metal slides. To ensure longevity, avoid forcing drawers open or closed.
  • Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across drawers. Avoid placing excessively heavy items in a single drawer. The thickened tabletop can support up to 150 lbs.
