4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the headphones and charging case.

1. Place both earbuds into the charging case.
2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The LED display on the charging case will indicate the charging status. A full charge is indicated when the display shows 100% and the earbud indicators are solid.

4.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The headphones will automatically enter pairing mode when removed from the charging case.

1. Ensure the earbuds are charged.
2. Open the charging case and remove both earbuds. They will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for available devices and select "Q80" from the list.
5. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the earbuds' indicator lights will turn off or flash slowly.

Note: The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wearing the Earbuds

The Q80 earbuds feature an open-ear clip design for a comfortable and secure fit.

1. Identify the Left (L) and Right (R) earbuds.
2. Gently clip each earbud onto your ear, ensuring the sound outlet is positioned towards your ear canal without entering it. The ear hook should rest securely over the top of your ear.
3. Adjust for comfort and stability.

5.2 Touch Controls

The earbuds are equipped with multi-function buttons for easy control.

5.3 Power On/Off

• Power On: Remove earbuds from the charging case. They will power on automatically.
• Power Off: Place earbuds back into the charging case. They will power off automatically and begin charging.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your NUPLEA Q80 headphones.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the earbuds and charging case. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Water Resistance: The earbuds are IP7 waterproof, meaning they can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. However, they are not designed for swimming or prolonged submersion. Ensure they are dry before placing them back in the charging case to prevent damage.
• Storage: Store the headphones in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Charging: Use only the provided USB Type-C cable or a certified equivalent.
