1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Nictemaw Portable Washing Machine. This full-automatic washer is designed for efficient laundry in compact living spaces such as small homes, apartments, RVs, and dorms. It features 10 washing programs, 8 water levels, and a built-in drain pump for convenience. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not wash articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances as they give off vapors that could ignite or explode.
  • Do not allow children to play on or in the appliance. Close supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
  • Before the appliance is removed from service or discarded, remove the door to the washing compartment.
  • Do not reach into the appliance if the tub or agitator is moving.
  • Do not install or store this appliance where it will be exposed to the weather.
  • Do not tamper with controls.
  • Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance or attempt any servicing unless specifically recommended in the user-maintenance instructions or in published user-repair instructions that you understand and have the skills to carry out.

  • Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
  • Use only cold water for the water inlet connection.

4. Product Overview

4.1. Components and Features

4.2. Control Panel

The control panel features a touch interface with various buttons and indicators:

  • Power Button: Turns the machine on/off.
  • Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses a wash cycle.
  • Water Level Button: Selects from 8 adjustable water levels.
  • Program Button: Cycles through 10 washing programs (NORMAL, STANDARD, QUICK, LARGE, AIR DRY, SOAK, WASH, SPIN, WASH + RINSE, RINSE + SPIN).
  • Display: Shows remaining time and selected settings.
  • Child Lock: Activated by long-pressing "Water Level" and "Program" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

5. Setup

5.1. Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging.
  2. Place the machine on a firm, level surface. Use the adjustable feet to ensure stability and prevent excessive vibration during operation.
  3. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and hose connections. The compact dimensions are approximately 18.5 x 18.7 x 33 inches.

5.2. Water Inlet Connection

  1. Connect one end of the provided water inlet hose to a cold water faucet. Use the quick adapters if necessary to ensure a secure fit.
  2. Connect the other end of the water inlet hose to the water inlet port on the top-rear of the washing machine.
  3. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

5.3. Drain Hose Connection

  1. Attach the drain hose to the drain outlet at the bottom-rear of the washing machine.
  2. Position the other end of the drain hose into a sink, bathtub, or a dedicated drain pipe. The built-in drain pump allows for flexible placement.
  3. Ensure the drain hose is securely positioned to prevent it from dislodging during drainage.

5.4. Power Connection

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Ensure the voltage and frequency of your power supply match the machine's requirements (110V-60Hz).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Loading Laundry

  1. Open the top lid of the washing machine.
  2. Place clothes loosely into the honeycomb drum. Do not overload the machine; the maximum capacity is 17.8 lbs.
  3. Add appropriate detergent to the dispenser.
  4. Close the top lid securely.

6.2. Selecting a Program and Water Level

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the machine.
  2. Press the Program button repeatedly to select your desired washing program. Available programs include: NORMAL, STANDARD, QUICK, LARGE, AIR DRY, SOAK, WASH, SPIN, WASH + RINSE, RINSE + SPIN.
  3. Press the Water Level button to choose from 8 adjustable water levels, suitable for your load size.
  4. To activate the 24-hour delay timer, refer to the specific instructions in the full manual for setting the delay.

6.3. Starting the Wash Cycle

  1. Once the program and water level are selected, press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
  2. The machine will automatically fill with water, wash, rinse, and spin according to the selected program.
  3. To pause the cycle, press the Start/Pause button. Press it again to resume.

6.4. Child Safety Lock

To prevent accidental operation, especially by children:

  • Long press the "Water Level" and "Program" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to activate the child safety lock.
  • When activated, pressing other buttons will not respond.
  • Repeat the long press to deactivate the child safety lock.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning the Lint Filter

The removable filter plate should be cleaned regularly to ensure optimal performance and prevent lint buildup:

  1. Locate the removable filter plate inside the drum.
  2. Carefully remove the filter.
  3. Clean any accumulated lint or debris under running water.
  4. Reinsert the filter plate securely into its position.

7.2. General Care

  • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the lid open for a short period after each wash to allow the interior to air dry and prevent odors.
  • Regularly check hoses for any signs of wear or leaks.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
