Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
• Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The battery can be charged while attached to the main unit or separately.

• Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the battery or the main unit.
• Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
• The intelligent touch display will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.

2. Assembly

Assemble the vacuum cleaner according to your cleaning needs:

1. Attach the Battery: Slide the detachable battery into the main motor unit until it clicks securely into place.
2. Attach the Telescopic Tube: Connect one end of the telescopic tube to the main motor unit and the other end to the desired cleaning head (e.g., Floor Brush). Ensure both connections click securely. The tube length can be adjusted from 40-64cm.
3. Attach Cleaning Heads:
   • Floor Brush: Ideal for both hard floors and carpets. Features an upgraded 2-in-1 tangle-free roller and LED headlights for improved visibility.
   • Crevice Brush: Perfect for narrow gaps, corners, and edges.
   • Round Brush: Suitable for delicate surfaces, upholstery, and irregular shapes.
4. Wall Mount Installation (Optional): Install the wall mount bracket in a convenient location for storage and charging. Ensure it is securely fastened to a suitable wall surface.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the power button on the intelligent touch display to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.

2. Adjusting Suction Power

The JR400 features an intelligent touch display that allows easy adjustment of suction power. There are 5 suction levels available.

• Touch Control: Simply slide your finger across the touch screen to increase or decrease the suction level.
• Display Indicators: The LED screen displays the current battery level, selected suction level, and alerts for brush roller tangles or dust sensor blockages.

3. Using the Floor Brush

The floor brush is designed for versatile cleaning on various surfaces:

• Hard Floors: Use a lower suction setting for optimal battery life and effective cleaning of hard surfaces.
• Carpets: Increase the suction power for deeper cleaning on carpets. The anti-winding brush helps prevent hair tangles.
• Maneuverability: The brush head offers 180° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation for easy navigation around furniture and into tight spaces. The LED headlights illuminate dark areas.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the 1.5L dust cup regularly, especially when the 'dust sensor blocked' indicator appears or when it reaches the MAX fill line.

1. Hold the main unit over a trash bin.
2. Press the dust cup release button (usually located near the bottom of the dust cup) to open the bottom flap and release debris.
3. Close the flap securely after emptying.

2. Cleaning Filters

The multi-filtration system includes a HEPA filter, stainless steel filtration, cyclone filtration, and multicone filtration. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

• HEPA Filter: Remove the HEPA filter from the dust cup. Tap it gently to remove loose dust. If heavily soiled, rinse under cold running water. Ensure it is completely dry (24-48 hours) before reinserting.
• Stainless Steel Filter & Multicone Filtration: These components can also be removed and rinsed with water. Allow them to air dry completely.
• Frequency: Clean filters monthly or more frequently with heavy use.

3. Cleaning the Brush Roller

Periodically check the brush roller for tangled hair or debris.

1. Turn off the vacuum and detach the floor brush.
2. Locate the release mechanism for the brush roller (refer to the diagram in the package contents section).
3. Remove the brush roller. Use the provided cleaning tool or scissors to cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers.
4. Reinsert the brush roller and ensure it is securely locked in place.
