5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  3. Interior: The non-stick interior can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or a soft sponge (like the included cleaning cellulose sponge). For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used, but ensure all residue is wiped away.
  4. Pizza Stone: The pizza stone should be cleaned by scraping off any baked-on food residue with a spatula or brush. For deeper cleaning, allow the stone to cool, then wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use soap or immerse the stone in water, as it can absorb moisture and crack during future use.
  5. Crumb Tray: The removable crumb tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards.

Storage:

Store the oven in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure it is clean and dry before storage.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Oven does not turn on. Not plugged in; power outage; circuit breaker tripped. Ensure the oven is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check household circuit breaker.
Pizza not cooking evenly. Incorrect temperature/time setting; uneven pizza placement. Verify selected preset or manual settings. Ensure pizza is centered on the stone. Allow adequate preheating time.
Smoke or unusual odor during operation. Food residue on heating elements or stone; new appliance odor. Unplug and allow to cool. Clean interior and pizza stone thoroughly. A slight odor is normal during initial uses. If smoke persists, discontinue use and contact support.
Touchscreen unresponsive. Temporary electronic glitch. Unplug the oven for 1-2 minutes, then plug it back in to reset.
