Refilling Steps:

  1. Drain Residual Air: Turn the lighter upside down. Use a small screwdriver or ballpoint pen to press the refill valve (located at the bottom of the lighter) to drain any remaining fuel or air. Hold for approximately 1-2 seconds until no more gas escapes.
  2. A hand using a screwdriver to press the refill valve at the bottom of the lighter to release air.

Step 1: Draining residual air from the refill valve.

  3. Insert Butane Nozzle: Invert the butane fuel canister and firmly insert its long nozzle into the refill valve of the lighter.

Step 2: Inserting the butane nozzle into the refill valve.

  5. Refill: Press down firmly for approximately 3-10 seconds. You may hear a hissing sound, which is normal. Repeat this process 2-3 times if necessary, allowing a few seconds between each press.

5. Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the lighter's nozzle and body with a soft, dry cloth to prevent residue buildup.
  • Store the lighter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Ensure the lighter is empty of fuel before long-term storage.

6. Troubleshooting

Lighter Won't Stay Lit:

If the lighter ignites but the flame does not remain stable or extinguishes quickly, it may be due to insufficient gas flow.

  • Solution: Turn up the flame adjustment wheel (located at the bottom of the lighter) towards the '+' symbol until the flame becomes stable.

Lighter Does Not Ignite:

  • Check the fuel level in the transparent tank. If empty, refill the lighter following the instructions in Section 3.
  • Ensure all residual air has been purged from the lighter before refilling.
  • Verify that the flame adjustment wheel is not set to the minimum ('-') position. Adjust it to a medium setting.
