Operating Instructions
Using the Carpenter Pencils (2.8mm)
These pencils are ideal for marking on rough or uneven surfaces. The robust lead is suitable for wood, metal, concrete, and other construction materials. Adjust lead length as needed for desired line thickness and durability.
Using the Mechanical Pencils (2.0mm)
The 2.0mm mechanical pencils are designed for fine lines and detailed work, such as architectural drawings or precise measurements. The metal grip provides enhanced control and comfort.
Using the Long Nib Markers
The long nib markers are specifically designed for reaching into deep holes or narrow spaces where traditional pencils cannot. They are effective on various surfaces including glass, metal, plastic, tile, and wood.

Using the Carbide Scriber Tool
The carbide scriber tool is used for precise marking and engraving on hard surfaces such as metal, tile, glass, ceramic, and wood. Hold the tool firmly and apply consistent pressure to create a clear line.

Using the Automatic Center Punch
The automatic center punch is used to create a precise starting point for drilling, preventing the drill bit from wandering. Place the tip on the desired marking spot, press down firmly, and the spring-loaded mechanism will automatically strike, creating an indentation.

Maintenance and Care
- Lead Storage: Store lead refills in their original containers or the provided zippered pouch to prevent breakage and loss.
- Pencil Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the pencils and tools with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Sharpener Care: Periodically empty the shavings from the integrated sharpener of the 2.8mm pencils. Replace the external sharpener for 2.0mm leads if it becomes dull.
- Storage Pouch: Utilize the zippered storage pouch to keep all components organized and protected from damage when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lead breaks frequently. | Excessive pressure; lead too long; incorrect lead size. | Reduce writing pressure. Advance less lead at a time. Ensure correct lead diameter (2.8mm or 2.0mm) is used for the respective pencil. |
| Pencil not advancing lead. | No lead inside; lead jammed; mechanism faulty. | Check if lead is present. Gently remove any jammed lead. If mechanism is faulty, contact support. |
| Long nib marker not writing. | Cap left off; ink dried out. | Ensure cap is always replaced after use. If dried, try gently pressing the nib on a scrap surface to reactivate ink flow. |
