2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

4. Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the cooktop.
- Placement: Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance (at least 10-15 cm clearance from walls or other objects). Do not place it near flammable materials.
- Power Connection: Ensure the voltage of your power supply matches the rating indicated on the appliance (230V AC, 50Hz). Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before plugging in.
- First Operation (Burn-in): It is normal for a slight odor or smoke to be emitted during the first few minutes of operation. This is due to the burning off of manufacturing residues and will dissipate quickly. Operate the cooktop at a medium setting for about 10-15 minutes without a pot to complete this process.

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The Maharaja Whiteline IR Chef features a digital display and feather touch controls for easy operation. The adjustable power mode allows precise heat control.
5.2 General Operation
- Power On: Place a suitable cooking utensil on the ceramic glass surface. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the cooktop. The digital display will illuminate.
- Select Mode:
- Preset Modes: The cooktop offers 3 preset cooking modes: FRY, SOUP, and BBQ. Select the desired mode by touching the corresponding icon.
- Manual Mode: For custom cooking, select the MANUAL mode.
- Adjust Power/Temperature: In Manual mode, use the adjustable power knob or touch controls to set the desired power level (11 personalized power levels available). The digital display will show the current power setting.
- Timer Function: Press the TIMER button to set a cooking duration. Use the adjustment controls to set the time. The cooktop will automatically switch off once the timer expires.
- Power Off: After cooking, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the cooktop. The surface will remain hot for some time; a "H" indicator may appear on the display until it cools down.
5.3 Utensil Compatibility

Unlike induction cooktops, the Maharaja Whiteline Infrared Cooktop is compatible with all types of cooking utensils, including ceramic, glass, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. Ensure the base of the utensil is flat and covers the heating zone adequately for optimal heat transfer.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your infrared cooktop.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Ceramic Glass Surface:
- Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.
- For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner.
- Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or sharp objects that could scratch the surface.
- Ensure the surface is dry before next use.
