Introduction

Setup

Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Press down on the latch and slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: Always replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Operating Instructions

This replacement remote control is designed to function as an infrared (IR) remote for compatible Teac AV receivers. Point the remote directly at your receiver's IR sensor when operating.

Basic Functions

• Power Button: Located at the top left, typically labeled "RECEIVER" or with a power symbol. Press to turn the receiver on or off.
• Source/Input Selector Buttons: Buttons like "CD," "DVD," "AUX," "AM," "FM," "PC," "USB," "TV/CD," "NET," "GAME" allow you to select the desired audio/video input source on your receiver.
• Volume Control: "VOL +" and "VOL -" buttons adjust the master volume level of your receiver.
• Mute Button: Typically located near volume controls, mutes or unmutes the audio output.
• Navigation Buttons: A central directional pad (up, down, left, right) with an "ENTER" button is used for navigating menus and confirming selections on your receiver's display.
• Menu/Setup Buttons: Buttons like "SETUP," "MENU," "TOP MENU," "RETURN," "DISPLAY" are used to access and navigate the receiver's on-screen display (OSD) or internal settings.
• Playback Controls: Buttons such as "PLAY," "PAUSE," "STOP," "SKIP," "SEARCH," "REPEAT," "RANDOM" are for controlling media playback from connected devices.
• Numeric Keypad: Number buttons (0-9, +10) are used for direct input, such as selecting radio presets or track numbers.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your remote control, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Troubleshooting

• Remote Not Responding:
