1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your JAIOTlink 1080P Indoor Security Camera. This camera is designed for indoor use, offering comprehensive monitoring capabilities for your home, baby, or pets with features such as 360° pan and tilt, night vision, motion detection, and two-way audio communication.

2. What's in the Box

Verify that all components are present before proceeding with installation:

3. Product Overview

The JAIOTlink Indoor Security Camera features a 1080P resolution lens, infrared LEDs for night vision, a microphone and speaker for two-way audio, and a motor for pan and tilt functionality. It is designed for easy placement on a tabletop or optional ceiling mounting.

4. Setup Guide

4.1. Download the iSee Home APP

Search for "iSee Home" in your mobile device's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android) and download the application. This app is essential for controlling and managing your camera.

4.2. Power On and Initial Setup

  1. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided Type-C cable and USB adapter.
  2. Open the iSee Home app and create an account or log in.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. You may need to enable Bluetooth and location services on your phone for the initial pairing process.

  5. Select your 2.4G Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Note: This camera only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks. 5G networks are not supported.

  7. Once connected, the camera will appear in your device list within the app, and you can begin live viewing.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1. Pan and Tilt Control

Use the directional controls within the iSee Home app to remotely pan the camera 350° horizontally and tilt it 60° vertically, providing a comprehensive view of the monitored area.

5.2. Two-Way Audio

The built-in microphone and speaker allow for two-way communication. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera, and listen to audio from the camera's environment.

5.3. Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera is equipped with real-time motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record a 10-15 second alert video to the cloud (saved for 24 hours) and send a notification to your phone. You can customize detection areas within the app to focus on specific zones and reduce false alerts.

5.4. Night Vision Modes

The camera features infrared, color full, and smart night vision functions, ensuring clear and vivid surveillance even in low-light conditions or complete darkness, up to 33 feet.

5.5. Storage Options

Recordings can be stored in two ways:

  • SD Card Storage: Insert a microSD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the camera for 24/7 continuous recording.
  • Cloud Storage: Subscribe to the cloud storage service through the iSee Home app for secure storage of alert videos. Cloud data is stored at local base stations in the U.S. to protect privacy.

5.6. Alexa Integration

The camera is fully compatible with Amazon Alexa. After connecting the camera and 2.4G Wi-Fi through the iSee Home APP, you can use simple voice commands to view the live stream on compatible Alexa-enabled devices.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your camera:

  • Keep the camera lens clean using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the camera is placed in a stable location, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture.
  • Regularly check for firmware updates through the iSee Home app to benefit from new features and security enhancements.
