Model: 1624JAIOJ

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your VEVOR 16x24 Heat Press Machine. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance. Retain this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the machine is connected to a grounded power outlet with the correct voltage (110V). Do not operate with wet hands or in damp conditions. Disconnect power before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Hot Surfaces: The heating platen reaches high temperatures. Avoid direct contact with the heating element during operation and immediately after use. Use heat-resistant gloves if necessary.
  • Pressure Adjustment: Adjust pressure only when the machine is open and cool. Excessive pressure can damage the machine or the item being pressed.
  • Ventilation: Operate the heat press in a well-ventilated area to dissipate any fumes from materials.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the machine during operation and when it is cooling down.
  • Stable Surface: Place the heat press on a stable, heat-resistant surface capable of supporting its weight.

3. Product Features

  • Large Heating Pad: 16 x 24 inch (40.6 x 61 cm) heating pad with sponge for quicker heating and improved transfer effect.
  • Teflon Insulation Coating: Reduces surface temperature and prevents adhesion between clothes and platen, ensuring excellent transfer results.
  • Digital Control Board: Precise temperature (0 - 570 ℉ / 0 - 299 ℃) and time (0 - 999 seconds) regulation with automatic alarm.
  • Adjustable Pressure Knob: Allows for easy adjustment of pressure based on material thickness. Features a non-slip rubber grip for comfortable use.
  • Versatile Application: Suitable for T-shirts, pillows, bags, phone shells, and various textiles like cotton, HTV, ceramics, glasses, fabrics, flax, and nylon.

4. Setup

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the heat press from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a sturdy, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for safe operation and ventilation.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a grounded 110V electrical outlet.
  4. Initial Inspection: Before first use, ensure all components are securely fastened and the heating platen moves freely.

5.2 Adjusting Pressure

The pressure knob is located on top of the heating platen. Turn the knob clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. Test the pressure on a scrap piece of material before pressing your final item.

5.3 Performing a Heat Transfer

  1. Prepare your garment or item by pre-pressing it for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Place your transfer material (HTV, sublimation print, etc.) onto the garment in the desired position.
  3. Lower the heating platen and apply pressure. The timer will automatically start.
  4. Once the timer finishes and the alarm sounds, lift the heating platen.
  5. Carefully remove the transfer material according to its specific instructions (hot peel, warm peel, or cold peel).

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. For the heating platen, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for Teflon-coated surfaces when the machine is cool.
  • Storage: Store the heat press in a dry, dust-free environment. Ensure the platen is in the open position to prevent pressure on the silicone pad.
  • Inspections: Periodically check all electrical connections and moving parts for wear or damage.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Machine Not Powering On: Check the power cord connection and the power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Uneven Heating: Verify that the heating platen is clean and free of debris. Ensure the pressure is evenly distributed across the platen.
  • Poor Transfer Results: Double-check temperature and time settings against the recommendations for your specific transfer material. Ensure adequate and even pressure is applied.
  • Machine Beeps Continuously: This usually indicates the set temperature has been reached. If it beeps unexpectedly, refer to the digital control board for error codes or contact support.
