Setup and Installation

1. Placement

Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The compact design, measuring 17.3" (D) x 9.7" (W) x 16.7" (H), allows it to fit conveniently under most standard wall cabinets.

2. Water Refill Options

The Gevi ice maker offers two convenient methods for water input:

  • Manual Refill: Open the top lid and pour water directly into the 2.8-liter (3 quarts) water reservoir. The anti-drip design helps prevent spills.
  • Auto Refill: For continuous ice production, connect the included 10ft 1/4” hose to a water supply line. This provides automatic water replenishment.

3. Initial Cleaning

Operating Instructions

1. Power On and Ice Production

Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the power button on the touch control panel to begin ice production. The machine is designed to produce ice quickly, with the first batch ready in approximately 15 minutes. It can produce up to 30 pounds of nugget ice in 24 hours.

2. Ice Basket and Storage

The ice maker features a 4.8-pound capacity ice basket. Once ice is produced, it will drop into this basket. The unit has extra thick insulation and double-layer space insulation, providing an 85% ice retention rate at 80°F ambient temperature for 12 hours. Note: The ice basket does not have a refrigeration system. For long-term storage, transfer the ice to a freezer.

3. Low Noise Operation

Maintenance

1. Auto Self-Cleaning Function

2. Descaling
