It includes multifunction displays for date, day of the week, and a day/night indicator (often referred to as moonphase). The watch is constructed with a 316L stainless steel case and bracelet, and a synthetic sapphire crystal for durability.
Key Features:
- Japanese VX3H Quartz Movement for accurate timekeeping.
- Multifunction display: Date, Day of the Week, and Day/Night Indicator.
- 316L Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet.
- Synthetic Sapphire Crystal for scratch resistance.
- Luminous hands and hour markers for visibility in low light.
- Water Resistance: 50 meters (5 ATM).
Setup and Initial Use
1. Unboxing and Inspection
Upon receiving your watch, carefully remove it from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. The package typically includes the watch, a product manual, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a strap adjustment tool.

2. Setting the Time, Date, Day, and Day/Night Indicator
The watch crown has multiple positions for adjustment. Refer to the diagram below for crown positions and pusher functions.
- Time Setting: Pull the crown out to the furthest position (Position 2). Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back to Position 0 when done.
- Date Setting: Pull the crown out to the middle position (Position 1). Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Ensure the date changes at midnight, not noon. If the date changes at noon, advance the time by 12 hours. Push the crown back to Position 0 when done.
- Day of the Week Setting: Use the pusher located at the 2 o'clock position on the watch case. Press the pusher repeatedly to advance the day of the week until the correct day is displayed.
- Day/Night Indicator Setting: Use the pusher located at the 4 o'clock position on the watch case. Press the pusher repeatedly to advance the day/night indicator. This indicator shows a sun for daytime and a moon for nighttime. Note that this is not a traditional moonphase display but rather a 24-hour indicator.
Note: Avoid setting the date or day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. If adjustment is needed during this period, first set the time outside this range, adjust the date/day, then reset the time.

3. Bracelet Adjustment
The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted to fit your wrist. A strap adjustment tool is included in the packaging. Identify the arrows on the inside of the bracelet links, which indicate the direction to push out the pins. Carefully use the tool to remove pins and links as needed. Ensure the pins are reinserted securely.
Operating Your Watch
Once set, your PAGANI DESIGN PD1786 watch will operate continuously. The quartz movement ensures precise timekeeping. The luminous coating on the hands and hour markers allows for readability in low-light conditions.
Understanding the Displays:
- Main Hands: Hour, minute, and second hands indicate the current time.
- Left Sub-dial: Displays the day of the week (e.g., MON, TUE, WED).
- Right Sub-dial: Displays the date (1-31).
- Bottom Sub-dial: Day/Night Indicator, showing a sun for daytime and a moon for nighttime.

Maintenance and Care
1. Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust, dirt, and fingerprints. For the stainless steel bracelet, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
2. Water Resistance
Your PAGANI DESIGN PD1786 watch has a water resistance rating of 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, or washing hands. However, it is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports.
- Do not press any buttons or operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged in water.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme hot or cold temperatures, such as saunas, hot tubs, or direct steam, as this can compromise the water seals.
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
3. Battery Replacement
As a quartz watch, the PD1786 is powered by a battery. The battery life typically ranges from 2 to 3 years. When the watch stops running, it indicates the battery needs replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
4. Avoiding Magnetic Fields
Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, such as those produced by speakers, refrigerators, or other electronic devices. Strong magnetic fields can affect the accuracy of the quartz movement.
