4. Product Overview

- Weighing Platform: Stainless steel surface where items are placed for weighing.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the scale.
- Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Initial Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface, free from vibrations or drafts. Ensure the transparent protective cover is removed from the weighing platform before use.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Turning On/Off
- To turn on: Press the ⓘ/T button. The display will show "88888" and then "0.00g".
- To turn off: Press and hold the ⓘ/T button for approximately 3 seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an auto-off function after 180 seconds of inactivity.
6.2 Changing Weighing Units
With the scale on, press the M (MODE) button to cycle through the available weighing units: grams (g), ounces (oz), grains (gn), carats (ct), troy ounces (ozt), and pennyweights (dwt).
6.3 Tare Function
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the weight of the contents is measured.
- Place the empty container on the weighing platform.
- Press the ⓘ/T button. The display will reset to "0.00g".
- Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.
6.4 Weighing Procedure
- Turn on the scale and wait for "0.00g" to appear.
- If using a container, perform the tare function (see 6.3).
- Gently place the item(s) to be weighed on the center of the weighing platform.
- Read the stable weight displayed on the LCD.
6.5 Piece Counting (PCS) Function
This function allows you to count a large number of items of the same weight.
- Turn on the scale and wait for "0.00g".
- Press and hold the PCS button until "PCS" appears on the display, followed by a sample size (e.g., "25", "50", "75", "100").
- Press the M (MODE) button to select the desired sample size (e.g., 25, 50, 75, 100 pieces).
- Place the exact number of sample pieces (e.g., 25 pieces) onto the weighing platform.
- Press the PCS button again to confirm the sample. The display will show "PCS" and the number of sample pieces.
- You can now add more items of the same type, and the scale will display the total count.
- To exit counting mode, press the M (MODE) button.
7. Calibration
Calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. It is recommended to calibrate the scale periodically or if you suspect inaccurate readings. A calibration weight is included with your scale.
- Turn on the scale and wait for "0.00g".
- Press and hold the CAL button until the display shows "CAL".
- Release the CAL button. The display will then show the required calibration weight (e.g., "200.00g").
- Place the specified calibration weight (e.g., 200g) gently onto the center of the weighing platform.
- The display will show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode ("0.00g"). This indicates successful calibration.
- Remove the calibration weight.
Note: Ensure the calibration weight matches the value displayed on the scale during the calibration process.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Storage: When not in use, store the scale in its protective hard shell case in a cool, dry place.
- Battery Replacement: If the display shows "LO" or becomes dim, replace the batteries.
