2. Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Read all instructions before using the OTG.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use oven mitts or potholders when handling hot materials.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance itself in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

4. Initial Setup

- Unpack: Carefully remove the OTG and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the OTG on a stable, heat-resistant, and flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance (at least 10-15 cm clearance on all sides). Do not place it near flammable materials or directly under cabinets.
- Clean: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Wash the wire rack, baking tray, and rotisserie set in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- First Use Burn-Off: Before cooking food, operate the empty OTG for approximately 15 minutes at 250°C with both top and bottom heating elements selected. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. A slight smoke or odor is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
To operate your Wonderchef OTG:
- Place the food on the appropriate accessory (baking tray, wire rack) and insert it into the oven.
- Close the oven door securely.
- Select the desired Function (e.g., Bake, Grill, Toast, Convection, Rotisserie).
- Set the desired Temperature using the temperature knob.
- Choose the appropriate Heat Selection (Top, Bottom, or Both) based on your recipe.
- Set the Timer for the required cooking duration. The oven will automatically shut off once the timer reaches zero.
- Monitor cooking through the tempered glass window. The internal lamp provides visibility.

5.2 Cooking Modes
- Bake: Ideal for cakes, cookies, bread, and casseroles. Use the baking tray and select both top and bottom heating elements.
- Grill: Perfect for grilling vegetables, paneer, or meats. Use the wire rack and select the top heating element.
- Toast: For toasting bread slices or small items. Use the wire rack and select both top and bottom heating elements.
- Convection: Activates the internal fan for faster and more uniform cooking and browning. Suitable for most baking and roasting tasks.
- Rotisserie: For roasting whole chicken or large cuts of meat evenly. Use the rotisserie set. Ensure the meat is securely fastened and balanced.
6. Care and Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Wonderchef OTG.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Crumb Tray: The removable crumb tray (Figure 4) should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent the buildup of crumbs and grease, which can be a fire hazard. Slide out the tray, discard crumbs, and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
- Interior: Wipe the interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surfaces.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Accessories: Wash the wire rack, baking tray, and rotisserie set in warm, soapy water. They are generally not dishwasher safe unless specified.
- Do NOT immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
