4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case.

  1. Place the earbuds into the charging case.
  2. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a USB power source.
  3. The LED display on the case will indicate the charging status. Allow approximately 1.5 hours for a full charge of the case and earbuds.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your earbuds to a device:

  1. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the case is open.
  2. On your device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  3. Select "Erazer XP2" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon on the charging case screen will turn white.

Note: If connection issues occur, long-press the button at the bottom of the charging bay for approximately 3 seconds to enter mandatory connection mode. After connection, the Bluetooth icon will turn white.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Earbud Touch Controls

The earbuds feature touch operation for basic functions. Specific touch gestures may vary; refer to the quick start guide or product packaging for detailed earbud touch commands.

5.2 Charging Case Touch Screen Functions

The intelligent touch screen on the charging case provides comprehensive control over various settings. Swipe left or right to navigate through the interfaces.

  • Music Interface: Control music playback (play/pause, next/previous track). Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Volume Interface: Adjust headset volume. Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Environmental Sound Interface: Switch between Transparency, ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), and Normal modes. Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Equalizer Interface: Select sound effects (Standard, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic) or custom sound effects. Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Brightness Adjustment Interface: Control the brightness of the charging case screen (Low, Medium, High).
  • Wallpaper Switching Interface: Choose from 5 lock screen wallpapers.
  • Space Sound Switching Interface: Switch between Movie mode, Music mode, and Game mode.
  • Find Headset Interface: Locate misplaced earbuds by making them sound from the charging bay. Caution: Do not wear headphones when using this function to avoid hearing injury due to excessive sound.
  • Flashlight Function: Activate the built-in flashlight.
  • Language Switch: Change the charging bay language display (English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French).
  • Countdown Function Screen: Enables a countdown timer.
  • Storage Mode Screen: Enter test screen. Single machine test screen storage mode in the lower right corner of single machine storage screen shutdown enters low power consumption. Exit low power storage mode requires recharging to activate.

5.3 Restarting the Charging Case

To restart the charging case, long-press the button at the bottom of the charging bay for approximately 8 seconds. The startup screen will be displayed.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the earbuds and charging case.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

6.3 Waterproof Rating

The earbuds are IPX5 waterproof, meaning they are resistant to a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.
