Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power source. The LED display will indicate charging status. Once the charging case icon shows 100%, wait an additional 15 minutes before disconnecting the charger to ensure a complete charge.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

  1. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the case lid is open.
  2. On your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Erazer XP2" from the list of devices to pair.
  4. Once paired, the earbuds are ready for use.

3. Mandatory Connection (If pairing issues occur)

If you experience difficulty pairing, place both earbuds in the charging case with the lid open. Press the button at the bottom of the charging bay 3 times to initiate a mandatory connection. The Bluetooth icon on the display will turn white upon successful connection.

4. Restarting the Device

To restart the charging case, long-press the button at the bottom of the charging bay for approximately 8 seconds until the startup screen is displayed.

Operating Instructions

Charging Case LED Display Functions

The charging case features a color LED display that allows control over various earbud functions. Navigate through the menus by swiping on the screen.

  • Music Interface: Control music playback (play/pause, next/previous track). Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Volume Interface: Adjust earbud volume. Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Environmental Sound Interface: Switch between Transparency mode, ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) mode, and Normal mode. Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Equalizer Interface: Select sound effects (Standard, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic) or custom sound effects. Requires connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • Brightness Adjustment Interface: Control the brightness of the charging case display (Low, Medium, High).
  • Wallpaper Switching Interface: Choose from 5 lock screen wallpapers for the display.
  • Spatial Sound Switching Interface: Select between Movie mode, Music mode, and Game mode for optimized audio.
  • Find the Headset Interface: Locate misplaced earbuds by making them sound an alert. Caution: Do not wear headphones when using this function to avoid injury from excessive sound.
  • Flashlight Function: Activate the flashlight feature on the charging case for illumination.
  • Language Switch: Change the display language of the charging case (English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French).
  • Storage Mode Screen: Access the test screen. The storage mode in the lower right corner of the single machine storage screen shutdown enters low power consumption. Exiting low power storage mode requires recharging to activate.

Earbud Touch Controls

The earbuds feature touch controls for convenient operation. Specific functions include:

  • Double Press (Music Mode): Double press the right earbud for Volume Up, double press the left earbud for Volume Down.
  • Triple Press (Music Mode): Triple press the right earbud for Next Track, triple press the left earbud for Previous Track.
  • Switch between Game Mode and Music Mode: Press and hold either earbud for 3 seconds.

Photo-taking Function

When connected to a Bluetooth device (e.g., mobile phone), the charging case can be used to trigger your phone's camera to take photos. This function may have compatibility issues with some phones or shooting software. If it cannot be used, please ignore this feature.

TikTok Page Flipping and Like Function

When using Camera function or TikTok to Page flipping and like function on an iPhone, it can be used properly. Please turn on the following settings: Open Apple Phone Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > AssistiveTouch ON. Then close the camera software or TikTok software and open it again to use. This function is only available for use with TikTok software, and other software may not be able to use it. This feature may have compatibility issues with some phones, and some phones may not be able to use it. If there are situations where it cannot be used, please ignore this feature.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Erazer XP2 earbuds, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the charging case. Long-term improper use can cause dust or oxidation on the charging column of the earphones and charging case, resulting in poor charging of the earphones. If this problem occurs, manually clean the dust on the charging column or wipe it with alcohol to ensure normal charging.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage.
  • Water Exposure: While the earbuds are waterproof (IPX5 rated), avoid prolonged submersion in water. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet.
