Care and Maintenance
- Upholstery Cleaning: For velvet upholstery, gently blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For general cleaning, use a soft brush or vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaner or use a velvet-safe cleaning product, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
- Frame and Base: Wipe metal parts with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Casters: Periodically check casters for hair or debris that may hinder smooth rolling. Clean as needed.
- Fasteners: Regularly check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chair does not adjust height | Gas lift not engaged or faulty. | Ensure the height adjustment lever is fully pulled. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement. |
| Chair wobbles | Loose screws or uneven floor. | Check and tighten all assembly screws. Ensure the chair is on a flat, level surface. |
| Casters do not roll smoothly | Debris caught in casters or damaged casters. | Remove any hair or debris from the caster wheels. If damaged, casters may need replacement. |
| Chair makes noise | Loose connections or friction between parts. | Tighten all screws. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts if necessary, avoiding upholstery. |
