Setup

1. Battery Installation:

   Locate the battery box. Open the battery compartment cover. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Close the cover securely.

2. Placement:

   Uncoil the string lights carefully. The flexible green wire allows for easy shaping and placement around various objects such as Christmas trees, wreaths, plants, or furniture. Ensure the battery box is placed in a location where it is easily accessible for operation.

3. Outdoor Use Considerations:

   While the lights are IP65 waterproof, the battery box should be protected from direct heavy rain or prolonged submersion to ensure longevity. Consider placing the battery box in a sheltered area or using an additional waterproof cover if exposed to harsh weather conditions.

Operating Instructions

The string lights are controlled via a button on the battery box. This button allows you to cycle through different lighting modes and activate the timer function.

Lighting Modes:

Press the "Mode/Power" button repeatedly to cycle through the 8 available lighting modes:

1. Combination
2. Steady On
3. Slow Fade
4. In Waves
5. Disco
6. Slow Glow
7. Chasing/Flash
8. Sequential
9. Twinkle/Flash

To power off the lights, press and hold the "Mode/Power" button for 3 seconds.

Timer Function:

The lights feature a built-in timer for automatic operation. To activate the timer:

• Set the desired lighting mode using the "Mode/Power" button.
• Slide the switch on the battery box to "TIMER ON".
• The lights will now automatically turn on for 6 hours and then turn off for 18 hours, repeating this cycle daily from the time you activated the timer.

To deactivate the timer, slide the switch to "TIMER OFF".

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the lights with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Replacement: When the lights dim or stop working, replace all 3 AAA batteries with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Storage: When not in use, carefully coil the string lights and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
