3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Animated Butler. No tools are required.

Assembly Video:

1. Assemble the Base: Connect the initial support poles to the metal stand base. The poles are lettered and numbered for easy matching. Push the lock button on the stand and click the pole into place.
2. Attach Shoes: After the first two poles are in place, add one shoe to each side by sliding the pole into the shoe.
3. Continue Pole Assembly: Continue adding the remaining poles, ensuring you match the letters/numbers.
4. Add Pants: Once the pole assembly is complete, slide the pants garment onto the poles. For a more realistic effect, you may add stuffing to the pants.
5. Install Waist Ring: Secure the waist ring around the poles, locking it into place. Pull the pants up over the ring to create the butler's waist.
6. Attach Top Piece: Place the butler's top piece (torso, head, arms) onto the assembled poles, ensuring it locks securely. Pull the coat down and around the bottom, then fluff it out for a realistic appearance.
7. Connect Candelabra: The butler's arms are poseable. Move the right arm away from the body. Connect the candelabra's electronic wire to the coupler on the right arm. This connection allows the candelabra to light up. Hide the wires and pull the sleeve of the butler's arm down over the hand. The candelabra is held in place with a piece of Velcro. Stuffing the arms will also add a more realistic look.
8. Attach Raven: Place the animated raven onto the butler's left shoulder. Ensure the coat fabric does not obstruct the connection point. Connect the raven's electronic wire to the corresponding coupler on the butler's shoulder.

5. Operating Instructions

The Animated Butler can be activated in two ways:

• Motion Sensor Activation: The prop is equipped with a motion sensor. When motion is detected, the candelabra flames will light up amber, the raven's eyes will light up red, and the butler and raven will engage in dialogue.
• Manual Button Activation: A manual activation button is located on the butler's left hand. Press this button to trigger the animation and dialogue.

The prop requires 3 AA batteries (not included) for operation. Ensure fresh batteries are installed correctly in the designated battery compartment.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface of the prop with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: When not in use, disassemble the prop and store it in its original packaging or a protective container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the animation or lights become dim or stop functioning. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

• Prop Not Activating:
  • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are fresh.
  • Check all electronic connections (candelabra, raven) to ensure they are securely plugged in.
  • Verify the manual activation button is functioning.
  • Ensure the motion sensor is not obstructed and is in an area where it can detect movement.
• Lights or Sound Not Working:
  • Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
  • Inspect all wiring for any visible damage or loose connections.
