It features a robust galvanized metal roof and a reinforced steel structure engineered for durability and stability in diverse weather conditions.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

• Proper Anchoring: Ensure the carport is properly anchored to the ground during setup. Inadequate anchoring can lead to collapse in high winds.
• Weather Conditions: Avoid using or assembling the carport in extreme weather conditions such as strong winds, heavy snow, or thunderstorms. Disassemble or secure the carport if severe weather is anticipated.
• Fire Hazard: Keep the carport away from open flames, heaters, or any other heat sources. The materials, while durable, are not fireproof.
• Assembly Safety: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses during assembly. It is recommended to have 2-3 people for assembly to ensure safety and ease.
• Component Check: Before assembly, verify all components are present and undamaged. Do not proceed with assembly if parts are missing or damaged. Contact customer support immediately.

Note: This metal carport is typically packed in 5 separate boxes and may be delivered on different days. Please ensure all boxes have arrived before starting assembly.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the GarveeLife Metal Carport requires careful attention to detail and the assistance of 2-3 individuals. Gather all necessary tools before you begin.

4.1 Recommended Tools (Not Included):

• Electric Drill
• Gloves
• Ladder
• Measuring Tape
• Level

4.2 Assembly Steps:

1. Prepare the Site: Choose a level, stable area for the carport. Clear any debris or obstacles. Ensure adequate space for the 13' x 16' dimensions.
2. Assemble the Roof Frame (Step 1): Begin by connecting the main frame components according to the provided diagram. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Attach Legs and Reinforcements: Connect the vertical support legs to the assembled roof frame. Install the 4 reinforcing support rods for enhanced stability.
4. Place the Roof Cover (Step 2): Carefully lift and place the galvanized metal roof panels onto the assembled frame. Secure them using the provided fasteners. Apply waterproof sealing tape and soft-edged rubber strips as directed to ensure a watertight seal.
5. Anchor the Carport: Once the main structure is assembled, secure the carport to the ground using the heavy-duty anchor rods and ground pegs. Ensure they are firmly embedded to withstand wind forces.

5. Operating Instructions

The GarveeLife Metal Carport is designed for straightforward use as a protective shelter. No complex operational procedures are required.

• Vehicle Parking: Drive your vehicle into the carport, ensuring it is centered and does not make contact with the frame. The 13' x 16' dimensions provide ample space for most cars, trucks, and boats.
• Multi-Use Shelter: For events or storage, arrange items within the carport's protected area. Ensure that any items stored do not exceed the structural load capacity or obstruct ventilation.
• Weather Protection: The galvanized metal roof and reinforced structure are designed to protect against sun, rain, snow (up to 35 PSF), and wind (up to 100 MPH).

• Routine Inspection: Periodically inspect the entire structure for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Check bolts, nuts, and anchor points for tightness.
• Cleaning: Clean the galvanized metal roof and frame with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Rinse thoroughly.
• Snow Removal: While the carport has a snow load capacity of 35 PSF, it is advisable to remove excessive snow accumulation from the roof to prevent undue stress on the structure, especially during heavy snowfall.
• Rust Prevention: The frame and roof are corrosion-resistant, but inspect for any scratches or chips in the powder coating or galvanization. Touch up with appropriate rust-inhibiting paint if necessary to prevent rust.
• Drainage Check: Ensure the sloped canopy allows for rapid water drainage. Clear any debris that might obstruct water flow.

  Solution: Re-check all bolted connections to ensure they are tightened securely. Verify that the ground pegs and anchor rods are fully embedded and providing adequate stability. Ensure the ground surface is level. In extremely windy conditions, additional anchoring may be required.
• Water Leakage from Roof:

  Problem: Water is dripping from the roof panels.

  Solution: Inspect the waterproof sealing tape and soft-edged rubber strips around the roof panels. Ensure they are properly applied and intact. Reapply or replace if necessary. Check for any gaps or misaligned panels.
