5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the vacuum sealer. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the unit and to a suitable USB power source. The LED display will indicate charging status.

5.2 Preparing the Sealer

Ensure the silicone sealing ring inside the sealer unit is properly positioned and clean before each use. This ring is crucial for creating an effective vacuum seal.

6. Operation Instructions

6.1 Sealing a Mason Jar

  1. Prepare the Jar: Wipe the mouth of the Mason jar thoroughly to ensure it is clean and dry. Any moisture or food debris can prevent a proper seal.
  2. Prepare the Lid: Choose the correct size lid (wide mouth or regular mouth) for your jar and wipe it clean and dry. Place the lid onto the jar.
  3. Attach Adapter (if necessary): The sealer comes with a standard port converter installed. If sealing a wide-mouth jar, remove this converter. For regular-mouth jars, ensure the converter is in place.
  4. Position the Sealer: Align the electric sealer over the lid on the jar and press it down firmly until it sits securely.
  5. Start Sealing: Press the main 'Auto' button. The sealer will automatically begin the vacuum process, typically completing in 30 seconds. The LED display will show the progress. You can adjust the time using the '30s' or '60s' auxiliary buttons if a longer or shorter vacuum is desired.
  6. Remove Sealer: Once the sealing process is complete and the unit stops automatically, carefully remove the sealer from the jar. The jar should now be vacuum-sealed.

6.2 Important Sealing Tips

  • Ensure the silicone ring inside the sealer is correctly positioned.

  • Do not overfill your jar. Leave at least 1 inch of headspace for liquid foods (like jams, soups) and at least 0.5 inches for solid foods (like fruit, pickles, spices).
