4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your ZWJBSGY Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit:
- Prepare the Tubing: The 50-foot tube may be kinked from shipping. To soften and straighten it, immerse the tube in boiling water for approximately 10 seconds.
- Cut the Tube: Measure and cut the tube into appropriate lengths for each plant you intend to water. This allows for customized water flow to individual pots.
- Connect T-Head Connectors and Drippers: Attach the T-head connectors to the main tube, then connect the drippers to the T-heads. Insert the drippers into the soil of your potted plants.
- Install Anti-Siphon Device: Crucially, install the anti-siphon device. Ensure it is positioned higher than your water source (e.g., water bucket) to prevent siphoning and potential overwatering.
- Connect Water Line and Filter: Connect one end of the water line to the main unit's IN/OUT port and the other end to the filter. Place the filter into your water reservoir.
- Power On: Connect the USB cable to the main unit for power. The unit is equipped with a 2200mAh rechargeable battery.
