3. Product Overview
The Generic Pipe Inspection Video Camera System is a robust tool designed for professional and home use in inspecting inaccessible areas. It features a high-definition camera with rotation capabilities, a clear monitor, and a durable cable for various inspection depths.
3.1 System Components
- 7-Inch TFT Monitor: Provides a clear display of the camera feed with sun shield for outdoor visibility.
- Rotating Camera Head: Equipped with HD CCD 800TVL, 6 white LEDs, 12 IR LEDs, and 2 blue LEDs for optimal illumination. Features 0-180 degree vertical rotation and 0-360 degree horizontal rotation.
- Fiberglass Cable Reel: A 30-meter (selectable length) anti-corrosion, cold-resistant, and tensile fiberglass cable for reaching deep into pipelines.
- Battery Box with Controls: Houses the 4500mAh Li-battery and provides controls for camera movement, LED intensity, and DVR functions.
- Aluminum Carry Case: Protects all components during transport and storage.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your pipe inspection camera system for first use.
- Charge the Battery: Before initial use, ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect the charger to the battery box and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator on the battery box will show the charging status.
- Connect the Monitor: Connect the video output cable from the battery box to the video input port on the 7-inch TFT monitor. Ensure a secure connection.
- Connect the Camera: Connect the camera cable from the reel to the camera input port on the battery box.
- Insert TF Card: If not already inserted, gently push the 8GB TF card into the designated slot on the monitor or battery box (depending on model) until it clicks into place. This is required for DVR recording.
- Power On: Turn on the power switch on the battery box. Then, turn on the monitor. The camera feed should appear on the screen.

5. Operating Instructions
This section details how to operate the camera system, including monitor functions, camera control, and DVR recording.
5.1 Battery Box Controls
The battery box serves as the central control unit for the camera and power management.

- ON/OFF: Powers the system on or off.
- UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT: Controls the camera's vertical and horizontal rotation.
- SPEED: Adjusts the rotation speed of the camera.
- LED: Cycles through LED lighting modes (white, IR, blue, all on, all off).
- AUTO/MANU: Toggles between automatic and manual camera rotation modes.
- V1/V2: Switches between video input channels if multiple cameras are connected (not applicable for single camera setup).
5.2 Monitor Functions
The 7-inch TFT monitor displays the live camera feed and provides controls for recording and playback.

- REC/OK: Starts/stops video recording; confirms menu selections.
- PLAY: Enters playback mode to review recorded footage.
- MENU/EXIT: Accesses the monitor's settings menu; exits current menu.
- OFF/ON: Powers the monitor on or off.
- LEFT/RIGHT: Navigates through menu options or recorded files.
5.3 DVR Video Recording
The system supports DVR video recording to the inserted TF card.
- Ensure a TF card (up to 32GB, 8GB included) is properly inserted.
- With the live camera feed displayed, press the REC/OK button on the monitor to start recording. A recording indicator will appear on the screen.
- Press REC/OK again to stop recording.
- To view recordings, press the PLAY button to enter playback mode. Use LEFT/RIGHT to navigate and REC/OK to play/pause.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your inspection system.
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in dirty environments, clean the camera head and cable with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals. Ensure the camera lens is free of debris.
- Storage: Store all components in the aluminum carry case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the fiberglass cable for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage.

- No image on monitor:
- Ensure all cables are securely connected (monitor, camera, battery box).
- Check if the battery box and monitor are powered on.
- Verify the battery is charged.
- Camera not rotating:

- Ensure the system is not in an 'AUTO' rotation mode if you are trying to manually control it.
- Verify battery charge level.
- Poor image quality:
- Clean the camera lens.
- Adjust LED brightness using the 'LED' button on the battery box.
- Ensure sufficient lighting in the inspection area.
- Cannot record video:
- Ensure a TF card is properly inserted.
- Check if the TF card has sufficient free space.
- Format the TF card if it's a new card or experiencing issues (refer to monitor menu for formatting option).
