2. Product Overview

The CARPURIDE W103 Pro features a 10.3-inch 1080P IPS HD capacitive touch screen, offering responsive and clear viewing. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Mirror Link functionality. The device includes a built-in 5W speaker and various connectivity options.

2.1. Components and Ports

• Suction Cup Mount: Ideal for temporary or flexible placement on the windshield or dashboard. Offers high versatility in angle and position.

3.2. Initial Power On

1. Connect the provided 12V to USB-C adapter to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
2. Plug the USB-C cable into the DC 5V port on the W103 Pro unit.
3. The device will power on automatically and display the Carpuride loading screen, followed by the home screen. The unit is designed to power on instantly when your vehicle starts.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. User Interface Navigation

The home screen displays various application icons, a clock, and control buttons on the left side. The full HD touch screen provides a clear and responsive interface for easy navigation.

• Help Button: Provides information and support.
• Volume Controls: Adjust audio volume up or down. Can also be adjusted via the touchscreen slider.
• Brightness Control: Adjust screen brightness manually or enable auto-brightness via the light sensor.

4.2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The W103 Pro supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone for navigation, music, calls, and more.

• For Wireless CarPlay (iPhone):
  1. Open the 'i-Play' app on the W103 Pro.
  2. On your iPhone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  3. Search for and connect to the device's Bluetooth (e.g., Carpuride-xxxx).
  4. Confirm the connection on your iPhone to enable CarPlay.
• For Wireless Android Auto (Android Phone):
  1. Open the 'A-Auto' app on the W103 Pro.
  2. On your Android phone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  3. Search for and connect to the device's Bluetooth.
  4. Confirm the connection on your Android phone to enable Android Auto.

4.3. Mirror Link (AirPlay & AutoLink)

The device supports Phone Mirror-Link technology for both iOS (AirPlay) and Android (AutoLink) devices, allowing you to display your phone's screen directly on the W103 Pro.

• AirPlay (Wireless iOS Mirroring): Use the 'AirPlay' app to wirelessly mirror your iPhone's screen.
• AutoLink (Wired Android Mirroring): Use the 'AutoLink' app for wired mirroring of your Android phone. This may require a separate app download on your phone.

4.4. Bluetooth Functionality

The W103 Pro features dual Bluetooth 5.0 for enhanced connectivity.

• Wireless Connection Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto):
  • Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone.
  • Verify that your phone supports 5GHz Wi-Fi (required for wireless Android Auto).
  • For iOS, ensure iOS 6 or above and Siri is enabled.
  • For Android, ensure Android 11 or above and the Android Auto app is updated.

• Audio Quality Issues (FM Transmit): Tune to an interference-free radio station and slightly decrease the volume of the device to solve the problem of FM wireless interference.
• Calls through W103 Pro Speaker instead of Car Speaker: After connecting to car Bluetooth, calls will be made through the W103 Pro speaker. This is expected behavior.
• Screen Brightness Fluctuation: If the light sensor is too sensitive, turn off automatic light sensor and choose manual adjustment in settings.
• Mirroring Issues: To switch to mirroring mode after using CarPlay/Android Auto, you need to set up mirroring in your phone's settings and ignore CarPlay/Android Auto connections.
