1. Introduction

2. Setup
2.1. Package Contents
Before proceeding, please verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1 x Holyask VV-128GB Digital Voice Recorder
- 1 x USB-C Data Charging Cable
- 1 x User Manual (this document)
2.2. Initial Charging
The device comes with a built-in Lithium Ion battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the recorder before first use.
- Connect the smaller end of the provided USB-C cable to the recorder's USB-C port.
- Connect the larger end of the USB-C cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Device Overview

3.2. Power On/Off
To power on the device, slide the Power switch (7) to the ON position. To power off, slide it to the OFF position.
3.3. Recording Audio
The recorder supports high-quality 1536Kbps PCM audio recording with noise cancellation.

- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Slide the REC switch (6) upwards to start recording. The screen will display the recording interface.
- To pause recording, briefly slide the REC switch downwards. To resume, slide it upwards again.
- To stop and save the recording, slide the REC switch downwards and hold for a few seconds. The screen will display "Saved".
3.4. Voice-Activated Recording (VOR)
The device can automatically start recording when sound is detected (above 60dB) and pause when silent, saving memory.

- Navigate to the recording settings menu.
- Select "VOR Mode" or "Voice Activated Recording".
- Adjust the voice decibel level sensitivity as needed.
- Activate VOR mode. The recorder will now only record when sound is detected above the set threshold.
3.5. Playback
You can play back recorded files directly on the device.

- From the main menu, select "Music" or "Recordings".
- Use the navigation buttons to select the desired file.
- Press the Play/Use button (15) to start playback.
- Use the Volume - (11) and Volume + (9) buttons to adjust playback volume.
- The device supports A-B repeat functionality for specific sections of audio.
3.6. File Management & Transfer
The device has 128GB of storage and can store up to 999 audio files. Files are saved in MP3 or WAV formats.
- Connect the recorder to your computer using the provided USB-C cable.
- The device will appear as a removable disk drive.
- Drag and drop files to and from the recorder to transfer them.
- Files are named with date and time for easy organization.
3.7. Password Protection
Protect your recordings with a password.

- Select "Password Protection" and follow the on-screen prompts to set or change your password.
