4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

  1. Ensure the device is turned off.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the main unit.
  3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a suitable power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator may change color or turn off.

4.2 Initial Placement

  1. Place the foot pad unit on a flat, stable surface, such as the floor in front of a chair.
  2. Ensure your feet are clean and dry before placing them on the designated foot areas of the device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on the device, press and hold the power button (U) on the main unit or the remote control.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again.

The device offers 25 distinct modes, categorized for different therapeutic needs:

  • PMS Modes (1-8): These modes are designed to stimulate healthy muscles, aiming to improve and facilitate muscle performance.
  • TENS Modes (9-25): These modes are intended for temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles in areas such as the shoulder, waist, back, neck, arm, leg, and foot. They work by applying current to stimulate nerves, addressing discomfort from exercise or normal household activities.

Press the 'M' button on the main unit or remote control to cycle through the available modes. The selected mode number will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.3 Intensity Adjustment

The AST-300W features 50 adjustable intensity levels, allowing you to customize the electrical stimulation to your comfort and therapeutic requirements.

  • To increase intensity, press the '+' button on the main unit or remote control.
  • To decrease intensity, press the '-' button on the main unit or remote control.

Start with the lowest intensity and gradually increase it until you feel a comfortable, yet effective, sensation. Avoid setting the intensity too high, which may cause discomfort.
