Setup Instructions

Please follow these steps in sequence for correct use of the GPS device. Steps 1-3 are prerequisites.

Important Considerations Before Setup:

• The GPS device does not include a SIM card or storage card. You must prepare a 2G network SIM card and a mini memory card in advance.
• The SIM card must be a GSM standard 2G network mobile SIM card with GPRS/2G internet access function.
• SIM card size requirement: Nano.
• The SIM card requires a balance to connect and use.
• Charging without a SIM card inserted is prohibited.

1. Preparation:

   Ensure you have a 2G network SIM card (Nano size) with GPRS/2G internet access and a mini memory card.

2. Power On:

   Open the card cover. Insert the SIM card as indicated, and then insert the mini memory card. The product will automatically power on. The red light will flash four times before turning off. After 30 seconds, it enters normal standby mode.

   Note: If the indicator light does not turn on after inserting the SIM card, charge the device with the SIM card inserted.

3. Bind the Master Control Number:

   Send a text message "000" to the locator's number. The device will reply with a text message. Then, send "Set; Bind + Master Control Number" to complete the binding process.

Operating Instructions

4. GPRS Location Query:

   Send a text message "777" to the locator's number. The device will reply with the geographical location and a Google Maps link. Open the link on your phone for accurate location details.

5. Location Trajectory Query:

   Send a text message "102" to the locator's number. The device will reply with [account, password]. Log in to the provided URL to view real-time location information.

6. GPS Device Status:

   Send a text message "888" to the locator's number. The device will reply with information about main functions, battery capacity, bound numbers, signal strength, startup frequency, GPRS TF card capacity, etc.

7. Restart the Main Unit:

   Send a text message "999" to the locator's number and wait for 1 minute for successful restoration.

8. Shutdown and Information Display Stop:

   Send a text message "444" to the locator's number. The device will reply with "Reset; All task".

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GPS tracker, please observe the following:

• The device features a waterproof and rainproof shell, but avoid prolonged submersion in water.
• Charge the device regularly to maintain battery health. Always ensure a SIM card is inserted during charging.
• Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GPS tracker, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Device Not Powering On / No Indicator Light:
  • Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and oriented.
  • Charge the device with the SIM card inserted.
• No Location Data / Inaccurate Tracking:
  • Verify the SIM card has an active balance and GPRS/2G internet access.
  • Check if the SIM card is in arrears.
  • Ensure the device is in an area with good 2G network coverage.
  • Confirm the master control number is correctly bound (refer to Setup Step 3).
• App Issues / Language Problems:
  • Scan the QR code in the user manual (physical manual) to download the official app.
  • Note that some app versions may incur fees due to Google Maps licensing. SMS operations do not incur fees.
• Battery Drains Quickly:
  • The device will automatically send a low battery alert to your phone. Ensure you charge it promptly.
  • Battery working time is approximately 100 hours, with a standby time of 12 days and working time of 4-6 days. Actual usage may vary.
• Device Not Responding to SMS Commands:
  • Confirm the SIM card has sufficient balance for sending SMS.
  • Ensure the commands are sent to the correct locator number.
  • Try restarting the main unit by sending "999" to the locator's number.
