4. Setup

4.1 Physical Installation

  1. Attach the WiFi Water Timer to your outdoor faucet. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks.
  2. Connect your garden hose to the outlet of the water timer.

4.2 App Installation and Gateway Pairing

  1. Download the 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Ensure your phone's WiFi (2.4GHz only) and Bluetooth are enabled.
  3. Plug in the WiFi Hub (Gateway). Long press the gateway button until its indicator light flashes.
  4. Open the Smart Life app, click '+' to add a device, and select 'Add Device' or 'Search for Devices'. The app should discover the gateway.
  5. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the gateway to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.

4.3 Water Timer Pairing

  1. On the gateway page in the Smart Life app, click 'Add device' and select 'Search for Devices'.
  2. Long press the button on the WiFi Water Timer for 5 seconds until its indicator light flashes.
  3. The app will discover the water timer. Click 'Done' to add it to your system.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 App Remote Control

Use the Smart Life app to create and manage watering schedules from anywhere. The WiFi connection via the hub provides a stable signal for remote operation.
