Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the UIXE Oversized Chaise Lounge Chair is designed to be straightforward. Please follow the steps below carefully. All necessary tools are included.

Step-by-Step Assembly:

1. Step 1: Cushion Recovery

   Take the cushions out of their compression bags. Allow them to recover for approximately 24 hours to fully regain their shape. Gently slapping the cushions can help speed up this process.

2. Step 2: Attach Wooden Feet

   Place the bottom of the sofa frame upward on a clean, flat surface. Remove the plastic cover from the sofa leg screws. Align the screw of each wooden foot with the reserved screw hole at the bottom of the sofa and rotate clockwise to firmly install all four feet.

3. Step 3: Secure Backrest to Seat Frame

   Place the backrest close to the standing seat frame. Align the four screw holes and tighten the screws to completely fix the backrest to the seat frame.
4. Step 4: Secure Armrest to Seat Frame

   Turn the seat frame with the backrest in a different direction (backrest down). Pick up the armrest frame and align the two reserved screw holes. Tighten them to completely fix the armrest.

5. Step 5: Apply Sofa Cover

   Recognize the position of the sofa cover for the armrest and backrest. Set the sofa cover onto the sofa frame installed in the previous step. Pull every edge of the sofa cover into place. Tear off the cloth strip on the edge of the sofa cover to expose the Velcro, and paste it neatly onto the sofa frame to secure the cover.

6. Step 6: Install Headrest and Cushions

   Insert the headrest into the backrest frame. Screw the decorative caps on top. Finally, put the main cushions onto the seat frame and arrange the smaller cushion as a lumbar support or decorative pillow.

The UIXE Oversized Chaise Lounge Chair is designed for simple and comfortable use. It functions primarily as a stationary chaise lounge and can also serve as a single sofa bed.

• As a Chaise Lounge: Position the chair in your desired living space. The ergonomic design with lumbar support pillow provides maximum comfort for sitting, reading, or relaxing.
• As a Single Sofa Bed: The design allows it to function as a single sleeper, providing extra sleeping space. Simply remove any additional pillows to maximize the sleeping surface.

• Ensure the chair is used by one person at a time.

• Always use on a stable, level surface. Avoid uneven or unstable surfaces to prevent tipping and injury.

Maintenance and Care

• Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub. Use a mild soap solution and a damp cloth for stubborn stains, then blot dry.
• Frame Care: Wipe the wooden frame and legs with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Cushion Care: Periodically fluff and rotate cushions to maintain their shape and even out wear.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fabric fading. Position your chair away from direct sunlight or use curtains/blinds.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your chaise lounge chair, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Cushions appear flat or misshapen: This is common after shipping due to compression. Allow up to 24-48 hours for cushions to fully expand. Gently fluff and pat them to help restore their shape.
• Chair feels wobbly after assembly: Ensure all wooden feet are securely tightened. Check the screws connecting the backrest and armrest to the seat frame (Steps 3 and 4 of assembly) to ensure they are fully tightened.
• Fabric cover does not fit perfectly: Ensure the cover is correctly aligned with the armrest and backrest sections. Double-check that the Velcro strips are fully engaged and smoothed down along the frame.
