Setup and Assembly

1. Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge both 21V 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then to the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged). Charging time is approximately 2 hours per battery.

2. Chain and Guide Bar Installation

Ensure the battery is removed before installation. Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction. Align the guide bar with the chainsaw body and secure it using the tool-less chain tensioning knob. Adjust the chain tension so it is snug but can still be moved freely by hand.

3. Oiling System

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Chainsaw

Insert a fully charged battery into the chainsaw. To start the chainsaw, you must simultaneously press the safety button located on the handle and the main trigger switch. Release the trigger to stop the chainsaw.

2. Cutting Techniques

Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands. For optimal performance and safety, allow the chainsaw to reach full speed before engaging the chain with the material to be cut. Apply steady, even pressure. Avoid forcing the saw, as this can lead to kickback or damage to the tool. Always be aware of the material's stability and potential for kickback.

Maintenance

1. Chain Sharpening

Regularly sharpen the chain using the provided chain file. Place the file against the beveled cutting surface of the teeth at a 30° angle with the saw. File from the inside to the outside of the teeth. Sharpen all left-hand teeth on one side of the chain, then move to the other side and file all the right-hand teeth. A sharp chain ensures efficient cutting and reduces strain on the motor.

2. Cleaning and Storage

After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw. Use a brush to remove sawdust and debris from the chain, guide bar, and motor housing. Store the chainsaw in its original case in a dry, secure location, away from children and unauthorized users. Ensure the chain guard is in place during storage.
