6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your deep fryer, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Fryer Not Heating:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the fryer and the wall outlet.
    • Verify that the magnetic power cord is properly seated on the control unit.
    • Check if the temperature dial is set to a desired temperature.
    • Confirm that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
  • Oil Not Reaching Temperature:
    • Allow sufficient time for the oil to heat up, especially for larger oil volumes.
    • Ensure the heating element is fully submerged in oil.
  • Excessive Smoke/Odor:
    • Ensure the oil is fresh and not overheated beyond its smoke point.
    • Verify that the oil filter in the lid is clean and properly installed.
    • Ensure food is dry before frying.
  • Food Not Crispy:
    • Check that the oil temperature is set correctly for the food type.
    • Avoid overcrowding the basket, which can lower oil temperature. Fry in smaller batches if necessary.
    • Ensure food is thoroughly dry before frying.
