Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the slow cooker for any damage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable ceramic cooking pot and tempered glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Assembly: Place the clean ceramic cooking pot securely into the slow cooker base unit. Position the tempered glass lid on top of the ceramic pot. The stainless-steel lid rest can be attached to the lid handle for convenient placement during cooking or serving.
- Placement: Place the slow cooker on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper ventilation. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Prepare Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the ceramic cooking pot.
- Secure Lid: Place the tempered glass lid onto the ceramic pot.
- Plug In: Plug the slow cooker into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The touch-activated display will illuminate.
- Select Mode: Press the "Mode" button to cycle through the available cooking settings: LOW, HIGH, and WARM.
- Set Time: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the cooking time. The programmable digital timer can be set from 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Start Cooking: Once the desired mode and time are set, the slow cooker will begin heating.
- Automatic Keep Warm: After the set cooking time expires, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" setting to keep your food at a serving temperature.
