3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged. Remove all transit bolts from the rear of the appliance before installation. These bolts secure the drum during transit and must be removed to prevent damage during operation.

3.2 Location Requirements

Place the washer dryer on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and maintenance. Avoid direct sunlight or areas with extreme temperatures.

3.3 Leveling the Appliance

Use a spirit level to ensure the appliance is perfectly level. Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine by turning them clockwise or counter-clockwise until the machine is stable and level. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibration and noise during operation.

3.4 Water Connection

Connect the hot and cold water inlet hoses to the corresponding taps and to the back of the washer dryer. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks. The appliance requires standard household water pressure.

3.5 Drain Hose Installation

Securely attach the drain hose to a suitable drain pipe or sink. Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked, allowing for proper water drainage.

3.6 Power Connection

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Before Each Wash/Dry Cycle

• Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
• Check pockets for any foreign objects.
• Close zippers and hooks, and tie loose strings.
• Load laundry into the drum, ensuring not to overload. For optimal performance, leave some space for clothes to tumble freely.

4.2 Adding Detergent and Softener

Open the detergent drawer (Figure 2.6) and add appropriate amounts of detergent to the main wash compartment and fabric softener to its designated compartment. Refer to your detergent packaging for recommended dosages.

4.3 Selecting a Program

Turn the program selector dial (Figure 2.5) to choose the desired wash or wash+dry program. The display will show the default settings for the selected program.

Available wash cycles include: Quick Wash 15', Mixed Load, Less Microfiber, Wool/Delicates, Cotton Dry, Air Wash, Wash+Dry, Eco 40-60, Cotton, Synthetics, Hygiene Steam, Rinse+Spin, Drum Clean, Downloaded.

Available drying cycles include: Cotton Dry, Synthetics Dry, Air Wash.

4.4 Adjusting Settings

Use the touch buttons on the control panel to adjust settings such as temperature, spin speed, and additional options (e.g., pre-wash, intensive, rinse hold) if available for the selected program.

4.5 Starting a Cycle

Press the Start/Pause button to begin the selected cycle. The door will lock, and the machine will start filling with water.

4.6 Ending a Cycle

Once the cycle is complete, the machine will signal with an audible alert. The door will unlock after a short delay. Remove laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles and odors.

5.1 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Cleaning the Detergent Drawer

Regularly remove and clean the detergent drawer to prevent detergent buildup. Rinse it under running water and use a brush to remove any residue. Reinsert the drawer once clean and dry.

5.3 Drum Cleaning (Drum Clean Cycle)

The appliance features a "Drum Clean" cycle designed to clean the drum and remove residue. Run this cycle periodically, especially if you notice odors or residue buildup. Do not add laundry or detergent during this cycle.

5.4 Filter Cleaning

Locate the drain pump filter, usually behind a small access panel at the bottom front of the machine. Place a shallow container underneath to catch any residual water. Unscrew the filter slowly to drain water, then remove and clean any lint or debris. Reinsert and tighten the filter securely.

5.5 Door Seal Care

After each use, wipe the door seal (gasket) with a dry cloth to remove any moisture or lint. This helps prevent mold and mildew growth.
