Setup
1. Physical Installation
The Insoma WiFi Hose Timer features an upgraded brass swivel inlet and outlet for enhanced durability and leak prevention. The brass threads are designed to withstand high working pressure (max 116 psi) and resist deformation under direct sunlight. A built-in metal filter gasket prevents sediment and larger particles from entering your irrigation system.
- Ensure your outdoor faucet is clean and free of debris.
- Screw the brass inlet of the hose timer onto your outdoor faucet. The swivel design allows for easy installation without twisting the entire unit.

2. App Download and Pairing
The Insoma WiFi Hose Timer connects to the Smart Life APP via a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection. A WiFi hub is required to enable smart control features. One WiFi hub can support up to 32 watering timers.
- Download the "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
- Plug in the Insoma WiFi Hub within range of your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Open the Smart Life app and follow the in-app instructions to add the WiFi Hub. Ensure your phone's WiFi is set to 2.4GHz.
- Once the hub is connected, add the WiFi Hose Timer within the app. The timer supports both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi connections through the hub.

Operating Modes
1. Flexible Watering Programs (App Control)
The Smart Life app allows you to set up to 20 independent watering programs, customizing start time, frequency, and duration. Two primary irrigation modes are available:
- Normal Schedule: The timer runs on its own, watering at specific times you define.
- Cycle/Soak: The timer automatically cycles watering at preset start and end times, breaking down watering into multiple cycles to allow soil to soak water efficiently.

2. Voice Control
The WiFi Hose Timer is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to control your watering system with simple voice commands.

3. Rain Delay Mode
The Rain Delay Mode helps prevent over-watering and conserves water. You can pause your programmed schedule for 24, 48, or 72 hours. The schedule will automatically resume after the selected delay period.
- Access the Rain Delay option within the Smart Life app.
- Select the desired delay duration (24h, 48h, or 72h).
- Confirm your selection to activate the rain delay.

4. Manual Mode
For on-demand watering, the manual mode allows you to water any lawn or garden area without interrupting your pre-set schedule. You can customize watering times from 1 minute to 24 hours.
- Via App: Open the Smart Life app, select the timer, and initiate manual watering for a specified duration (1 minute to 24 hours).
- Via Timer Button: Press the button on the timer itself for quick manual watering (typically for 1-10 minutes, depending on model configuration).

Maintenance
