2. Product Overview

The YUNCHI C3 Sonic Electric Toothbrush is designed to provide an effective and comfortable brushing experience with its high-speed motor and multiple cleaning modes.

3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Charging the Toothbrush

1. Ensure the charging port at the bottom of the toothbrush handle is dry.
2. Open the protective cover of the Type-C charging port.
3. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the toothbrush and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
4. The indicator light will flash red during charging. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
5. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn solid green.
6. Disconnect the charging cable and securely close the protective cover to maintain IPX7 waterproof rating.

Note: A full charge provides up to 90 days of use (based on two 2-minute brushing sessions per day).

3.2 Attaching a Brush Head

1. Align the brush head with the metal shaft on the toothbrush handle.
2. Push the brush head down firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Ensure the brush head is securely attached before use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

1. Press the power button once to turn on the toothbrush. It will start in the last used mode.
2. Press the mode button (below the power button) repeatedly to cycle through the 5 cleaning modes: White, Clean, Soft, Polish, Gum Care.
3. To turn off the toothbrush, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds, or press the power button once after cycling through all modes.

4.2 Brushing Technique

1. Wet the bristles and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
2. Place the brush head against your teeth at a slight angle towards the gum line.
3. Press the power button to start brushing.
4. Gently move the brush head slowly across your teeth, allowing the sonic vibrations to clean. Avoid scrubbing vigorously.
5. The 2-minute smart timer will pause briefly every 30 seconds to indicate when to move to a different quadrant of your mouth (upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left).
6. The toothbrush will automatically turn off after 2 minutes.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Toothbrush

1. After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water.
2. Wipe the toothbrush handle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
3. The toothbrush is IPX7 waterproof, allowing it to be rinsed under running water or used in the shower.

5.2 Replacing Brush Heads

It is recommended to replace the brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed or worn. The W-shaped DuPont bristles are designed to fade in color to indicate when a replacement is needed.

1. Grip the brush head firmly and pull it straight off the handle.
2. Align a new brush head with the metal shaft and push it down until it clicks into place.

6. Troubleshooting

• Toothbrush does not turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. If the red indicator flashes, the battery level is low and requires recharging.
• Weak vibrations: The battery may be low. Recharge the toothbrush.
• Brush head feels loose: Ensure the brush head is pushed down firmly onto the metal shaft until it clicks.
• Charging issues: Verify the Type-C cable is correctly inserted and the charging port is dry. Try a different USB power adapter.
