2.2 Power Connection

Connect the air compressor to a 220V, 60Hz power source. It is recommended to use a dedicated 20-amp circuit to prevent power issues, especially during startup or under heavy load. Avoid using extension cords if possible, or ensure they are heavy-duty and rated for the compressor's power requirements.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On and Pressure Adjustment

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the control panel. Turn the unit on. The compressor will begin to build pressure in the tank. Use the pressure regulator knob to adjust the output pressure to suit your pneumatic tools or application. The pressure gauges will display both the tank pressure and the regulated output pressure.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Draining Condensation

Regularly drain any accumulated water from the air tank to prevent rust and corrosion. Locate the water release valve at the bottom of the tank and open it to allow condensation to drain. Close the valve securely after draining.

4.2 Overheating Protection

The air compressor is equipped with a large cooling fan and automatic overheating protection. If the motor temperature becomes too high, the compressor will automatically shut off to prevent damage. Allow the unit to cool down before resuming operation.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Power Issues

If the compressor struggles to start or frequently trips its internal protection, ensure it is connected to a dedicated electrical circuit, ideally 20-amp. Avoid using long or inadequate extension cords, as they can cause voltage drop and prevent proper operation.

5.2 Overheating Shutdown

If the compressor shuts down due to overheating, allow it sufficient time to cool down. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Continuous operation beyond its duty cycle can trigger this safety feature.
