4. Setup and Assembly

The Honeywell HWL-02E GEN floor lamp is designed for easy assembly. While one person can assemble it, two people are recommended due to the lamp's weight and height. No additional tools are required beyond the included hexagonal wrench.

  1. Prepare the Base: Place the heavy U-shaped lamp base on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Attach Lower Lamp Post: Connect the lower lamp post to the lamp base. Align the screw holes and secure it using the provided screws and hexagonal wrench.
  3. Attach Upper Lamp Post: Connect the upper lamp post to the lower lamp post. Ensure the connection is firm and secure with screws.
  4. Attach Lamp Head: Carefully attach the lamp head to the top of the upper lamp post. Align the connectors and screw holes, then secure it with the remaining screws.
  5. Insert Diffusion Plates: Gently slide the soft light diffusion transmittance plates into their designated slots on the lamp head.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the lamp and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Honeywell HWL-02E GEN floor lamp features a user-friendly rotary knob for simple control.

  1. Power On/Off: Rotate the knob clockwise until you hear a click to turn the lamp ON. Rotate it counter-clockwise until you hear a click to turn the lamp OFF.
  2. Adjust Brightness: Once the lamp is ON, continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase brightness (from 10% to 100%). Rotate the knob counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
