Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Fusion Max camera requires up to 16 AA batteries (not included). For best performance, use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries into the compartment.

  • Open the camera's housing latch.
  • Locate the battery compartment.
  • Insert 16 AA batteries, observing the positive (+) and negative (-) indicators.
  • Close the battery compartment securely.

Alternatively, the camera is compatible with Stealth Cam FieldMAX rechargeable lithium battery cartridges and solar panels for alternative power. Refer to the respective accessory manuals for their installation.

2. SIM Card Installation

The camera comes with two pre-installed SIM cards. No manual installation is required for these. The camera will automatically select the strongest AT&T or Verizon network signal.

3. SD Card Installation

A 32GB SDHC UHS-I Memory Card is included. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card.

  • Locate the SD card slot on the camera.
  • Insert the 32GB SD card with the label facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
  • To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

4. Mounting the Camera

The camera can be mounted using the integrated 1/4-inch threaded insert or a mounting strap (not included).

  • Choose a stable location, such as a tree or post, that provides a clear view of the desired monitoring area.
  • If using a strap, thread it through the slots on the back of the camera and secure it around the mounting surface.
  • If using a tripod or other mounting hardware, attach it to the 1/4-inch threaded insert at the bottom of the camera.
  • Adjust the camera's angle to optimize the detection range and field of view.

5. Command Pro App Setup

The Command Pro app is essential for managing your Fusion Max camera, requesting on-demand media, and viewing images.

  • Download the "Command Pro" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  • Create an account or log in if you already have one.
  • Follow the in-app instructions to add your Fusion Max camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its serial number.
  • Once connected, you can configure camera settings, view images, and request on-demand captures.

Operating the Camera

Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Use the power switch located inside the camera housing to turn the camera on or off.
  • Mode Selection: The camera operates primarily in detection mode, capturing images or videos when motion is detected. Settings are configured via the Command Pro app.

Photo and Video Capture

The camera is designed to automatically capture media based on motion detection and your configured settings.

  • When motion is detected within the 80-foot range, the camera will trigger within 0.4 seconds.
  • Depending on settings, it will capture 36MP still images or 1080p video with audio.
  • In burst mode, it can capture 1 to 6 images per trigger event.
  • Captured media is saved to the installed SD card and transmitted via cellular network to your Command Pro app.
