The light features 39 premium LED beads for bright illumination. A motion sensor probe also acts as a charging indicator. The brightness can be adjusted using a dedicated button. A USB-C charging port is located on the side, next to the Auto/Off/On switch.

Setup & Installation

1. Charge the Lights: Before first use, fully charge the lights using the provided USB-C cables. The charging indicator will change color (e.g., red to green) when fully charged.
2. Choose Installation Method:
   • Method 1 (Magnetic Surfaces): The lights have built-in powerful magnets. Simply attach them directly to any metal surface (e.g., refrigerator, metal cabinet).
   • Method 2 (Non-Iron Surfaces): For non-metal surfaces (e.g., wooden cabinets, walls), use the included adhesive iron plates.
     1. Clean the desired installation surface to ensure it is dry and free of dust.
     2. Peel off the protective film from one side of an adhesive iron plate.
     3. Stick the adhesive side of the plate firmly onto the desired surface.
     4. Attach the light to the iron plate using its built-in magnets.
3. Positioning: Place the lights in areas where you need extra illumination, such as under kitchen cabinets, inside closets, or along stairways.

Operating Instructions

The OTWKAY Under Cabinet Lighting features a multi-function switch and a brightness adjustment button.

Working Modes (Auto/Off/On Switch):

• AUTO Mode (Motion Sensor): Slide the switch to "AUTO". In this mode, the light will automatically turn on when it detects motion within 120°/10ft in dark environments. It will turn off approximately 20 seconds after no movement is detected. This mode is ideal for energy saving and hands-free operation in areas like hallways, closets, or stairs.
• OFF Mode: Slide the switch to "OFF" to turn the light off completely.
• ON Mode (Always-on): Slide the switch to "ON". The light will remain continuously on, providing constant illumination. This mode is suitable for prolonged tasks or areas requiring continuous lighting, such as kitchen counters.

Brightness Adjustment:

• Short Press: While the light is on (in ON or AUTO mode), short press the brightness adjustment button to cycle through 5 preset dimming levels (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
• Long Press: Long press the brightness adjustment button for stepless dimming, allowing you to fine-tune the brightness to your desired level.

Charging

The OTWKAY Under Cabinet Lights are equipped with a built-in 2000mAh rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, the light output may dim or the light may not turn on.

• Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the light's USB-C port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
• The charging indicator light (often integrated with the motion sensor probe) will illuminate red during charging.
• Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green.
• A full charge can last approximately 30-60 days with moderate use in Auto mode, or up to 10 hours in Always-on mode at maximum brightness.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the light gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: This product is designed for indoor use and is not water resistant. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge when the light output noticeably dims.
• Storage: If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
