Setup Guide

Installation Steps:

1. Mount the Mirror Dash Cam: Secure the K17 Pro mirror dash cam over your existing rearview mirror using the provided straps. Ensure it is firmly attached and does not obstruct your view.
2. Install the Rear Camera: Mount the backup camera at the rear of your vehicle, typically above the license plate or inside the rear window. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the road behind.
3. Route the Rear Camera Cable: Connect the rear camera to the main dash cam unit using the 21ft cable. Carefully route the cable along the vehicle's headliner and trim to conceal it and prevent interference with driving.
4. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket) and connect the other end to the dash cam's power input.
5. Insert SD Card: Insert the provided 64GB microSD card into the dash cam's designated slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
6. GPS Module Connection: If using the GPS function, ensure the GPS module is connected to the dash cam and placed in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., on the dashboard).
7. Test Installation: Start your vehicle to power on the dash cam. Verify that both front and rear cameras are displaying footage correctly on the screen. Adjust camera angles as needed.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

• Power On/Off: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts. To manually power off, press and hold the power button.
• Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device is powered on. A red dot or similar indicator on the screen confirms recording is active.
• Screen Display Modes: Tap the screen to switch between front camera view, rear camera view, or split-screen display (front and rear simultaneously).
• Accessing Settings: Swipe left or right on the screen, or tap the gear icon, to access the main menu and adjust settings such as resolution, loop recording duration, G-sensor sensitivity, and time/date.
• Playback: From the main menu, select 'Playback' to review recorded videos. You can browse through files and play them directly on the dash cam screen.

CarPlay & Android Auto:

• Connection: Connect your iPhone via USB cable for CarPlay or Android phone for Android Auto. Follow the on-screen prompts to establish the connection.
• Navigation: Use your preferred navigation app (e.g., Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze) directly on the dash cam screen.
• Music & Calls: Control music playback and manage phone calls through the integrated interface.

Voice Control:
