Safety Information

To ensure your safety and prolong the life of your chair, please observe the following:

• Ensure the chair is used within the recommended weight capacity of 264 lbs.
• Do not stand on the chair or use it as a step stool.
• Avoid exposing the chair to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
• Keep children and pets away from the chair during assembly.
• Regularly check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tightened.

Your package should include the chair back, seat cushion, armrests, footrest, gas lift, base, casters, and all necessary hardware (screws, washers, Allen wrench).

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is straightforward and typically requires one person. Follow the steps below for proper setup.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each caster into the holes at the end of the chair base legs until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the larger end of the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the chair base.
3. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Secure the chair mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism aligns with the front of the seat.
4. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder.
5. Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to both the seat and the backrest using the designated screws.
6. Install Footrest: Slide the footrest assembly into the designated slots under the seat. Ensure it locks securely.

Operating Instructions

Your HOMCOM Executive Office Chair is designed for maximum comfort and adjustability.

Adjusting Seat Height

To adjust the seat height (19.7" - 22.8"), locate the lever on the right side under the seat:

• To raise: Lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat.
• To lower: Lift the lever while remaining seated.

Reclining Function

The chair back can recline up to 155 degrees. Use the lever on the left side under the seat:

• To recline: Pull the lever outwards and lean back to your desired angle. Release the lever to lock the position.
• To return upright: Pull the lever outwards and lean forward. Release the lever to lock.

Retractable Footrest

The integrated footrest provides additional comfort:

• To extend: Pull the footrest out from under the seat.
• To retract: Push the footrest back under the seat until it is fully stored.

Swivel Function

The chair features a 360-degree swivel for easy movement and access to your workspace.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your chair.

• Cleaning: The PU leather surface is easy to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts for tightness. Re-tighten if necessary to prevent wobbling or instability.
• Caster Care: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth rolling.
• Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 264 lbs.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your chair, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Chair does not adjust height: Ensure the gas lift lever is fully engaged. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement.
• Chair wobbles: Check that all assembly screws, especially those connecting the mechanism to the seat and the armrests, are securely tightened.
• Casters do not roll smoothly: Inspect casters for trapped debris (hair, lint) and clean them thoroughly. Lubrication may be applied if needed.
• Reclining function is stiff or not locking: Check the reclining lever for any obstructions. Ensure the mechanism is clean and free of debris.
• Squeaking noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts, especially around the gas lift and reclining mechanism.
