Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please ensure all components are present before beginning. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base until they click securely into place.
  2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base. Cover the gas lift with the gas lift cover.
  3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Secure the mechanism plate to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat.
  4. Attach Armrests: Fasten the armrests to the seat cushion using the designated screws. Pay attention to the left and right armrest orientation.
  5. Attach Backrest: Connect the backrest to the seat cushion and armrests using the remaining screws. Ensure all connections are firm.
  6. Install Footrest: Slide the footrest assembly into the designated slots under the seat.
  7. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.
  8. Final Check: Verify all screws are tightened and the chair is stable before use.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Seat Height:

  • To raise the seat, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat while taking your weight off the chair. Release the lever at the desired height.
  • To lower the seat, lift the lever while seated on the chair. Release the lever at the desired height.

Reclining Function:

  • To recline the backrest, pull the lever (typically on the left side) outwards. Lean back to the desired angle (up to 155°). Push the lever inwards to lock the backrest in position.
  • The chair supports various angles for working (90°), watching (130°), and relaxing (155°).

Using the Footrest:

  • To extend the footrest, pull it outwards from underneath the seat.
  • To retract the footrest, push it back underneath the seat until it is fully stored.

Swivel and Mobility:

  • The chair features a 360-degree swivel function for easy rotation.
  • The casters allow for smooth movement across various floor surfaces.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: The PU leather surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the material.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
  • Caster Care: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth rolling.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the PU leather to fade or crack.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Chair wobbles or feels unstable. Loose screws or uneven assembly. Check and tighten all assembly screws. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
Seat height adjustment not working. Gas lift cylinder malfunction or lever issue. Ensure the lever is fully engaged. If the problem persists, contact customer support for a replacement gas lift.
Casters not rolling smoothly. Debris (hair, dust) caught in casters. Turn the chair over and remove any obstructions from the casters. Clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
Backrest does not recline or lock. Recline mechanism jammed or lever not engaged. Ensure the recline lever is fully pulled out to recline and pushed in to lock. Check for any obstructions around the mechanism.
Footrest is difficult to extend or retract. Mechanism obstruction or misalignment. Check for any objects blocking the footrest mechanism. Ensure it is aligned properly in its tracks.
