6. Operating Instructions
This section outlines the basic steps for operating your UV laser marking machine.
- Power On: Turn on the main board switch, then the laser switch, and finally the galvanometer switch on the machine's control panel. Power on the industrial chiller.
- Software Launch: Launch the EzCad Lite software on your computer.
- Material Placement: Place the material you wish to mark on the work platform.
- Focus Adjustment: Adjust the Z-axis (lifting shaft) until the laser is properly focused on the material surface. Use the focus wheel for fine adjustments. The optimal focal distance is crucial for precise marking.
- Design Creation/Import: Create your design within EzCad Lite or import an existing design.
- Parameter Settings: Set appropriate laser parameters (power, speed, frequency, passes) based on the material type and desired marking effect. Refer to the software manual for detailed parameter guidance.
- Preview Marking Area: Use the software's preview function to project the marking area onto your material. Adjust the material position or design as needed.
- Start Marking: Once satisfied with the preview and parameters, initiate the marking process via the software or by pressing the foot switch.
- Monitoring: Monitor the marking process. Do not leave the machine unattended during operation.
- Power Off: After marking, power off the galvanometer switch, then the laser switch, and finally the main board switch. Turn off the chiller.
