4.2 Cover Installation

Carefully pull the PE cover over the assembled frame. Ensure the cover is evenly distributed and aligned. Use the Velcro straps and ties located inside the cover to secure it firmly to the frame. 4.3 Securing the Greenhouse

To enhance stability and protect against wind, tie the provided ropes to the ground stakes and insert them into the ground. For additional security, consider burying the extended edges of the cover in soil or placing heavy objects like stones, bricks, or sandbags on them. This improves insulation and prevents the cover from lifting in strong winds.

5. Operating Your Greenhouse

5.1 Ventilation

The greenhouse features 6 roll-up windows and a large zipper door for effective ventilation. Open the windows and door as needed to regulate airflow and prevent overheating, especially during warmer periods. The mesh nets on the windows help keep pests out while allowing air circulation.

5.2 Temperature and Humidity Management

The PE cover provides insulation to keep plants warm in winter and UV resistance to prevent sunburn in summer. Monitor internal temperature and humidity levels. Adjust ventilation by opening/closing windows and the door to maintain optimal conditions for your specific plants. Consider using a humidifier or heater if additional environmental control is required.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cover Care

Regularly inspect the PE cover for any signs of damage, such as rips or tears. Promptly repair any small damages to prevent them from worsening. Keep the cover clean by gently wiping it with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could degrade the material.

6.2 Frame Maintenance

Periodically check all frame connections and bolts to ensure they remain tight and secure. The galvanized steel frame is designed for durability, but regular inspection helps maintain its structural integrity. Address any signs of rust or corrosion promptly.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Greenhouse instability: Ensure all ground stakes are firmly inserted and ropes are tied securely. Consider adding additional weights (stones, bricks, sandbags) to the extended cover edges.
  • Cover tearing: While the cover is tear-resistant, extreme stress or sharp objects can cause damage. Promptly repair tears with appropriate greenhouse repair tape. Ensure the cover is not overly stretched during installation.
  • Poor ventilation: Fully open all 6 windows and the main zipper door to maximize airflow. Ensure mesh nets are clear of debris.
