Setup Instructions
Assembly of the PURPLE LEAF Cantilever Patio Umbrella is designed to be straightforward. Follow these steps for proper installation:

- Attach the umbrella canopy to the pole assembly.
- Secure the assembled umbrella into a suitable weighted base. Note: A weighted base is essential for stability and is not included.

Operating Instructions

Opening and Closing the Umbrella
The umbrella features a crank system for effortless opening and closing. Rotate the crank handle to extend or retract the canopy. Ensure the area is clear before operating.
360° Rotation
The umbrella can rotate 360 degrees horizontally, allowing you to adjust the shade position throughout the day without moving the base. This feature is typically controlled by a foot pedal located at the base of the pole.

5-Level Adjustable Tilt

Canopy Care
The umbrella canopy is made from 240 gsm yarn-dyed polyester fabric, which is fade-resistant, waterproof, and offers UV protection. To clean, gently brush off loose dirt, then spot clean with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing.

Frame Care
The main pole and eight heavy-duty ribs are constructed from aluminum with an anti-oxidation spray coating. Clean the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Inspect the frame periodically for any signs of wear or damage.

Storage

Troubleshooting
- Umbrella instability: Ensure the base is properly weighted. If using a water/sand-filled base, confirm it is completely filled.
- Difficulty opening/closing: Check for any obstructions in the crank mechanism or canopy fabric. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
- Canopy not tilting/rotating smoothly: Inspect the adjustment mechanisms for debris or damage.
